There's a free app by Nike which you can get from apple which has loads of workouts on which can be done on your own at home with little equipment, I think all you really need are some dung bells, a skipping rope and a medicine ball but even these aren't totally necessary. You can decide how you want to exercise (Lose weight, tone etc), what level you are at and what areas of the body you want to target or if you just want to do a general workout to lose weight. There are 15 minute workouts, 30 minute workouts and 45 minute ones to choose from. I just thought I'd share this because I know there are lots of people who want to exercise without having to leave the house and go to the gym. Also, this app times you and tells you when to change what you're doing; (the workouts consist of lots of mini workouts varying in length from 10 seconds to 2 minutes)

Oh and the app is called "Nike Training Club". It's something like 600mb though so isn't a small file but I think it's the best app for it's purpose and is worth it :)

Bodyweight exercises are good for definition but not size. If you want to get big go to a gym

I wouldn't say you need to go to a gym to gain size although it would be helpful. I've been doing purely dumbbell workouts and i've noticed small gains.

It's been proven that going to a gym and performing compound movements (squat, deadlift, bench, ohp, chins) are far better and faster for size/strength than isolation exericses, lets say curls. You cant do compound movements at home unless you have a home gym. You can get ripped with bodyweight exercises but never built or heavy built.

You can do DB Press, and deadlift with dumbbells you can do alot of chest/leg/arm/shoulder exercises with just dumbells actually.

DBDL isnt as effective as BBDL. DBDL weight increments are limited to lets say 50KG. BBDL = 200KG+

That is true - going to a gym would definatly be more effective, although i think starting out and having the convenience of being in ur home with just dumbells is well worth it for the first couple of months atleast (1-3).

Also in those body pics wtf is ottermode and how does that happen ?

Progressively increasing stimulus + lots of calories = size

There's only so far you can go with bodyweight exercises. Unless you add weight, which is impossible. Imagine adding a 20KG plate to your back while doing a push up?

Many people have added far more than 20kg to press ups. It's not hard to think of ways of adding weight without balancing it on your back.

I suppose you could use a weighted vest.
