not a fan of this type of music but they seem to have done a pretty good job pulling in some huge names

My 4 Day weekend pass has been ordered, I have the luxury of basically living down the road from Knebworth so that saves quite a bit of money aha.
Looking forward to seeing Slipknot, my favourite band.

Would like to know what set-list Slipknot are playing. I'd seriously consider going just due to the fact I knew they were playing, Snuff.

You know you've missed quite a few other bands out right?

There's about five bands I'd see, the rest are all old metal bands that young people kid themselves that they like to look cooler in front of their friends

The original post is from months ago, I want to see quite a few bands, I'm most looking forward to Sum 41, Slipknot and Motorhead.

Lol, this made me laugh cos its pretty true, I fully love Metallica, and its funny how many people pretend to around me.

But yeah, this looks so goood! The main bands I want to see are: the big four, Biffy, Sum 41, Bill Bailey, Limp Bizkit, Weezer and Motorhead, but I'm sure I'll end up listening to the others, shall be awesome :)

The problem is you'll have to watch the crowd, not the bands, you wont get to have all the fun you have to just grab crowd surfers and stop problems, the better way to get free tickets is to apply for Better Festival and Festibarrow, then you get some set hours to work and some set hours to enjoy the music.

I was supposed to be going to this but I made other plans in London so I'm not going to bother this year. I've been to Sonisphere before and the atomosphere is incredible, having the big 4 there is even better (I've seen them all before anyway, not at once though.. but I've seen the Sonisphere tour they did live in Sofia and they were AMAZING!)

Hope you all enjoy it who's going.

Only a week to go, clashfinder has updated now so you can see the clashes across stages or just the stage times really.

http://clashfinder.com/s/sonisphere2011/

I sure hope I can get a lift this time, last year I walked and it was exhausting carrying all my stuff.

I was originally going to go but then booked a holiday which clashes :( Regardless, I'd say Architects, Parkway Drive, Biffy Clyro, Gallows(!), Weezer, Slipknot and Tek-One is who I'd really want to see.

Saw Gallows in Manchester on Monday and they were amaaazinng. They know how to put on a show! Very small venue aswell which made it even better. Parkway and Architects I saw in March I think it was supporting Bring Me The Horizon along with TDWP. Parkway and Architects were immense. Saw Biffy in December and they were pretty good but I preffered Gallows and the BMTH gigs over Biffy.

I have quite a few bands I plan to see, although of the ones you posted I'm only seeing Slipknot and Weezer, maybe a little Biffy - Until I get bored that is.

I'm really looking forward to Slipknot, The Defiled, Sum 41 and Motorhead

I know what you mean, although it's not too much of a problem as I'm seeing Alestorm later this year anyway.

Not a bad line up at all, I do like a bit of Anthrax, Biffy Clyro, InMe and a few more. I'm not a fan really of Slipknot though. I love rock, but I'm not keen on shouting. Yet at the same time love Children of Bodom ha

You need to stay home in July to book tickets for a gig that isn't until like January or something? XD
