Im installing windows 7 - is there a way to have all my files saved as well?

Run it from desktop as an upgrade, you can find all your documents in a folder called windows.old then :)

When you install it, windows will automatically back it up on your C Drive and it will be a folder called windows.old

Image your Hard drive first before doing an upgrade, then you can be sure to have all your files backed up if the installation goes wrong.
