with an automated reply.

One person came into my room asking for a queen mum poster, i said sorry dont have. He left and another came in trying to sell his queen mum poster, was quite funny considering i realised straight away and wrote "Selling a queen mum poster?" before the second guy had a chance to speak.

I reported both to the help tool, received a message saying "betting, play games is at your own risk"..

DO MODERATORS EVEN LOOK INTO HELP CALLS NOWADAYS?
I think not..

Funny response from the mods :P

Although why did you report them? They didn't exactly break any rules from what i can see.

It's still classed as scamming isn't it?

Attempted scam. I got scammed that way when I was a noob ;l It's quite a clever scam.

But eh, that's what you get for outsourcing.

How is that attempted scamming?

How is that attempted scamming?

Basically, it's the same person.

They come in on one account saying; "Buying furni X, Y creds!" then leave. Then come in on a clone a few moments later saying "Selling furni X, for Z creds! Extra cheap!" So you want to buy it so that you can sell it to the guy that just came.

It's normally an obscure piece of furni that is cheap but not many people have so it CAN be sold at a higher price than normal - often it's not on the MP so they set the price themselves. You buy the furni then go to find the other guy and it turns out you were just ripped off by (X-Z) creds.

I think that they might have a quick reply to calls for help. It's really annoying when you get them though because they don't help at all and are really impersonal. I always used to think it was really nice when a moderator would say ''I have dealt with... :)''.

Not too sure if habbo classes it as scamming, even though it is technically an attempt at it.

They don't ban for scamming anyway, no logs. -.-'

I believe Redtiz in the past has said they come back with automated messages so you know they are looking at your inquiry... but the problem is they come back with a load of ****.

I've reported, and gotten people who i saw scamming banned before. Depends on the type of scam maybe.
