Basically i've been reading and researching a bit into this as it sounded interesting, for people who dont know what it is its basically a secret organisation of 'Global elites' who are trying to gain world domination bit cheesey i know.

It's interesting, but a huge pile of buttocks (with lls :P) The Illuminati seems to be a name given to the idea or thought that changes in popular, political and social culture must be coming from a group of "elite" people, when there is more evidence - or common sense - pointing towards the idea that these changes take place naturally depending on the preferences of the general population. Charlie, who I believe is a YouTube sensation, or was a sensation (he woffles on about crap) seems to be a good example of popular trends, much like Lady GaGa but on a far smaller scale, yet he clearly isn't bossed around by an elite. It just gives a paranoia effect that makes people believe that people who are fortunate to explode into popularity must be manufactured (like Lady Gaga) - a name or "explanation" given to the undescribable popularity that some people explode into.

Anyway - I've seen some stuff and read some stuff on it because my friend used to always go on about it - and in my own opinion I just think the music industry uses the illuminati as an excuse to get their puppets popular - e.g Lady GaGa/Rihanna/Kanye West
&I also agree with Arch, there probably will be a group of elites and everything, just, probably not illuminati.
Plus, there are lots of explanations for the symbols in movies - take Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows for example, I remember everyone going crazy on the reviews about the Deathy Hallows symbol actually being an all-seeing-eye

i have known about this all for years! since I was about 7 years old. I have looked into it ever since. The music Industry will always be illuminati. Lucifer WAS the angel of Music until he wanted to over power God & Jesus Christ. So god sent him to the dark side. (Hell) where he is LIVING the life he chose. i recall overhearing my sociologist teacher talking about the freemasons with someone, he said his dad was part of it but he wasnt interested but he is a sociologist afterall.... he also mentioned he was currently doing a participant observation but was keeping quiet because of the danger of it, i always linked the two together.... is freemasons like illiminati or seperate? i dont really know much about them
