i was seen videos and the sounds of the ghasts being burnt scare me to much so im saying out of the nether for now aha :P

I don't believe it has ever worked, as its essentially another whole world (which would need another server).
But I know you can set the server to be "hell world"

Oh right, I heard that Notch was working on getting it working on multiplayer servers.
