I can swim, not for long though. Lol
My situation was wierd, i had swimming lessons and sucked at it. then in y5 when we did swimming with school, i could swim perfectly.

Yeah i can, relatively well and my parents tought me to swim.
I remember when i was 10, we was in the swimming pool and our dad was watching us swim, but he wasnt in with us, life guard approached us, Dad got up and was like; 'is there a problem?'
Life guard said yes, if they cant swim more then 25metres they arent allowed in, on their own.
Dad just shouted us and told us to swim accross the whole length of the pool, from him to the end and back, thorugh the deepend included and my dad said, is that enough proof for you?
So yeah credit goes to my Dad really :P

Yeah my Granda threw me in the deep end at the age of five and told me to swim. Ever since that day I've been a strong swimmer. I mostly swim underwater though, I love it.

I can swim, but I'm not great. It never interested me but I'll always remember how to float from my year 5 swimming lesson things so :P That's pretty much the only reason I learnt, I HATED swimming with a passion. I saw it as a waste of time to be quite frank, like riding a bicycle except I can swim :L

Yeah I can and I used to do swimming lessons every week. I haven't been done swimming lessons since I was around 11/12 years old because I thought I wasn't too bad at it and I think I managed to get to around Level 9. I haven't been swimming in a while although I'm sure I can still swim.
My Mum can't swim though and she really regrets it so she's managed to be take adult swimming lessons which in my personal opinion are really good because it's people like my mum who will be able to learn a new skill in life and I praise my mum for taking it up because she's wanted to do it for a long time but never had the guts to do so.

I can but I get tired real quick.
I've learnt since I was 1 or 2, quit at about 6 or 7. I don't really like it though. I only like nice heated pools and even then don't enjoy it much
yeah i can and i'm actually pretty good.
i did lessons for years when i was younger and got to club level, although i didn't want to take it any further than that so i quit & i don't really go that often now, although i do still enjoy it.

I've always been a rather strong swimmer. We went on a lot of holidays around Europe and Spain when I was younger (still do, but mostly America now!!) so my parents taught me how to swim in the swimming pools there :P Then when we did Swimming in Year 4 at Junior School I was a good swimmer.. and now it's basically just stuck :P

Yes I can and wow at this thread. I thought everyone over the age of 13 could swim. I've never met anyone who can't.

I can swim, yeah. I started when I was little but I didn't like the whole pyjama thing they made you do and I was always the last one to do it :( Loved getting my mum to sew my badges on my little barbie towel though.
I haven't been swimming in ages and I doubt I'm a strong swimmer anymore. I used to do this thing I called the 'Dolphin' which was basically just me bobbing up and down like a Dolphin under water which I thought was cool but it's really not.

I can although I haven't swam in quite a few years. I used to love it though, my favourite stroke was the breaststroke :).

I'm a really strong swimmer and I'm in the sea cadets so it's a fair aspect of it because it's an advantage for if anything happens when you go out boating and it has come in handy quite a few times but I've been able to swim since I was 7.

I'm surprised by the amount of Habbox users who can't swim, I didn't expect it to be so many. Then again, people who can't swim probably won't be hanging around swimming pools so there's probably loads of people who can't swim..
Yes, I can swim.

Yeah, have been able to since I was five or six.
My parents believed we should learn things early. For instance, the bike. Myself and my brother spent two nights being taught how to cycle by our older sister. It ended in us being scratched all over due to us constantly ending up in our neighbours hedges, our sister gutting herself laughing and us whining and crying :P.
Yehh, i can swim and have been since i was 5... Swam for a few different swimming clubs, also got a few midland times :)
i used to love swimming but when i reached i would say 15 i quit. Now 18 dont really ever go tbh, though when i do i really miss is and kinda regret giving it up. My strokes are very technically good although im not the fastest.
i think everyone should learn to swim from a young age.

I can't swim but apparently the best method for 'learning' is to be pushed into the deep end.

i can only imagine the lawsuits... 'well it's the best way to learn apparently?'
