SMOKERS - how many cigarettes do you smoke per day?

For those of you who have this dirty habit, how many cigarettes do you smoke per day?

(save the 0 cigarettes, I don't want cancer, smoking is gross, I would never smoke BLAH BLAH BLAH)

Personally, I can make a 25 pack last me an entire week, in fact I'm on my pack from 2 weeks ago (I'm trying to cut back to 2 a day)

Personally i try to make a pack of 25 last for the week(which it usually does - without parties on the weekends). If i go to a party and ive been drinking i could definitly smoke a pack within the night though.
I try to cut down but its too hard especially at school and considering atleast half my friends smoke that doesnt help much :P

Yeah, same if I've been drinking I can an entire pack of smokes in one night.

A lot of people are going to be posting in here saying 'Ooo I smoke heaps because I am cool' But I am going to be an honest person. On a weekly bases I would smoke around 25-30 cigs. I use to smoke reds, but now I have cut down to GOLD so I am getting some where.

And I smoke 2 or 3 a day when I'm working. If I'm not working and not leaving the house I sometimes don't have any. If I'm on a night out it'll easily be 10+

Pictures speak a thousand words, I was pointing out that they should quit smoking so they have healthy pink lungs rather than horrible black tar lungs.

it depends, sober i could have anything from 0 - 5 in a week (sometimes i just go weeks without one, despite always having my pack (well actually i have a tin cause im classy) on me at all times). if im socialising, at work or at parties it could be anything up to about 10. the pack of 20 marlboro (yum) i have atm has lasted me for more than 2 weeks, and i have about 12-13 left

Normally about 10-15 a day been cutting back lately to 5-10 a day it is in all honesty a pointless habit to start.

so explain to me then why, when i've been smoking for about a year, i am still able to go for weeks without one cigarette? not everyone gets addicted, you're incredibly narrow minded if you think one puff gets you hooked.

The thing is with me, I don't need the cigarettes. I can go a week without smoking and it's nothing.. I just smoke out of boredom, I usually go visit my brothers on the weekends and that's over 2 hours away.. what am I going to do in the car for that long? Smoke. I find now it's more like Ash, we're going out for a smoke are you coming? I'm not like OMG YES SMOKE PLS.. it's more like yeah, a smoke would be nice right now, I'll have one so I go outside and have a smoke.. also, you have great conversations and you can meet tons of new people at bars and stuff when you're outside for a smoke..

Nah i'm addicted to it, but have no actual motivation to quit? I enjoy it, it tastes nice, I'm not going to have my OWN family to worry about having to 'see them grow up' and I always see it as... why worry about the years you could live while you've got time to live? it's silly to eat to live? why not live to eat? and same goes for all of lifes luxuries! I don't see the point in being boring through your life to worry about the extended life you could have. At the end up you'll just be like you were when you entered this world. You'll be clueless, incontinent and need 24 hour care. Whereas if you die at a reasonable age then there's no need to worry!

I could def smoke 10+ a day although its the price that turns me off to 1 pack a week + the fact my parents dont like me smoking at home.

I smoke baccy but around 20 rollies a day, sounds like loads to a non-smoker but when you smoke its not much. I don't usually count but i went to the effort of working out roughly i smoke tonight aha.

i don't think it really matters how much you smoke a day, i think it's more dangerous the longer you smoke whether it's 1 or 2 a day.
i used to only smoke maybe 3-5 a day whereas my friends would go through a packet a day. unlike everyone else, at the weekends i'd smoke less. if i was going out drinking i actually wouldn't want to be smelling of smoke and constantly spraying myself with perfume in a pub or club, not even if it was to 'socialize' cause thats so not sexy lol
anyway yeahhh i smoked l&b maybe a 20 pack a week for a good 3 year on and off. i buy a packet every fortnight for when i go out if anyone ever asks for a *** but i don't smoke anymore :dance:

went through about 20 last week (its quite a lot for me, usually have about 3 a week), was on a ski trip. oooops. haven't had one since last friday though, no craving/desire to have one either. however prices abroad (i was in italy) are so cheap, 4 euros 20 for a pack of 20 camel blues, thats pretty much £4. a pack of 10 here is about £3.60.

thats completely flawed, thats like saying you wont get fat if you binge eat 20 chocolate bars a day, but have one or two a day over the period of a year and you'll become obese
