Do you feel safe in your area? and is it quite or rowdy ect.

I actually dont feel safe in my area, We have young smokers, shop lifters and rowdy gangs. At my old house, 2 doors down lived a gang and one day the police blocked off the whole road had about 15+ officers with guns and the drug dogs. I beleive they use drugs, were violent and all of that. My mum doesn't like me going out alone as the gangs and the crime around here :(

I feel relatively safe in my area. It's quite a quiet area on the whole with not an awful lot of crime. :)

My area is fine. My brother is one of the 'thugs' around the area where I live and we all know each other so it's fine.

Errm, I like to think that my street is safe, there's the odd fight between 2 drunken guys occasionally (last one happened in summer). But the actual area I live in is a red light district, so it's only unpleasant at night.

Round where I live it's not really safe normally I hear a police car every night. I live near probably the most roughest road in manchester lol. I'm moving some time in March hopefully to a safer area.

my street is safe, most of the area around where i live is safe, but then I live near a really bad area with a lot of crime and murders and stuff, but I'm away from that so it's cool.

My place isn't too bad. There's a pub round the corner which gets a bit rowdy on friday/saturday nights but nothing major and it usually doesn't come down our road anyway.
There hasn't been any murders or anything round where I am. There was a burglary up my road about a year ago, other than that nothing I know of. Maybe a few kids with ASBOs and caught with drugs or something, but meh, it's ok.

Where do you life?! I'd consider Moss-side, Whythenshaw and Longsight scary.

My area if you exclude Brinnington is PATHETIC the people are forever chavvy people and I hate walking outside so I don't ever go anywhere unless it's in the car. I only have to so I can walk to the bus for school. I have this massive police station near me like 30 seconds drive so it's okay.

I wouldn't personally choose to walk around Burslem at night.

Well personally i say its fine but thats because ive lived here all my life. To any external person it could seem to be bad (alot of chavs hanging about on the fields at night and down back alleys)

There is gangs and have been a few shootings in my area but I feel safe. The shooting is down to gangland so once you don't get involved your okay.

Yeah. There's a worrying influx of chavs/scum/poles but other than that it's fine.

Feel perfectly safe in my area.

Not exactly the place for all the gang crap.

No, not at all. My brother was once mugged just up the road from our house, there have been shootings about five minutes away, one time when my neighbours son was walking back from the shop a man pulled up beside him in a car and told him to get in (obviously he didn't), there are so many chavs around who are all just aching for a fight (saw some hanging around a kids park with golf clubs before), there have been incidents where students have brought knives and guns into school and last weekend there was some huge racist riot. Absolutely hate where I live, never have I wanted to move so bad in my life.

I know my area's not safe, so I'm wary but I rarely feel unsafe while walking around, even at night. There's huge amounts of crime where I live (deep dark south london haha) but tbh I've never been a victim of any crime, apart from a burglary when I was young. Oh actually my bike has been nicked like 3 times and our car was stolen and my brothers been mugged several times but ermmm.... yeah.

Generally my attitude is that fear brings trouble, so I step out the door not expecting any.

My area is okay. Everywhere you go there will be good and bad points about the area. But I feel quite safe in my area, it's when you hear rumours or news reports of the bad things that have happened that you think twice.
