So basically, i have an iPhone 3G however after owning it for 2 years it's become a bit... broken, it runs slowly and can't connect to the Wi-Fi anymore. With my contract coming to an end i was wondering what should i get as a new phone.

Top of my choices atm is the Blackberry torch, although i've never been fond of blackberry's i am liking the looks of this one. In addition to this it comes with a free Ps3 ;). (My dad just got a new phone which came with a free 42" TV XD)
I have also been looking into the HTC desire which is looking pretty damn good to.

So this thread is just about what you would recommend as a new phone?

I'm open minded but i do want to have a smartphone. Any additional freebies i can get with the phone is just an added benefit XD.

Many thanks.

Kieran

iPhone 4 is a good phone, good battery, get plenty of apps and of course really good for your music! :)

But then Blackberry torch is good heard loads of good things about it, but seen as your going to get something free would go with blackberry! :)

The look is down to you, Android is making a good name for it's self and is user friendly and easy and quite High quality. Myself i use an Iphone 4 and don't look back i mean Ipod and a phone in one with Games! What more could you want :P Blackberrys are coming into fashion and are quite good phones, but the noisy keyboard and flashy lights put me off them :L!

Restore your iPhone and it'll be good as new.

Or just wait for the iPhone 5 or buy a high end Android phone.

Don't buy a BlackBerry.

I love my BlackBerry, but I do a lot of business-type things on it and I wouldn't recommend it for a recreational/fun phone because--honestly--if you don't own a business or run a business Blackberries are useless in the new smart phone world.

I would get a high-end Android phone--Android uses the Eclipse SDK which is super easy to make applications for you own needs or to sell.

Sell the iPod Touch? :')
But don't get a blackberry. If you read through all the threads - they all slate BBs to the max tbf.

Get a 3G MiFi on GiffGaff and use Skype to call people.
