Okay, so I'm having my party next week...just a few mates over we're going cinema etc etc.

But I want to see "Paul" and it's a 15. I'll be 15 and one other mate but the other 3 aren't :/ One of them could pass for 15 because he looks older than me but the other 2 are proper small and I don't know what to do?

My Dad said he'd buy the tickets - so we won't get interrogated there, but then the dude doing the tickets always asks for people's ages.

Obviously we have no proof so what should I do? :S I suppose I could get some ID and then show him and say we're all 15...but idk :/

just be like YE WE'RE 15 AND WOT.
but if they ask just say you're 15 and tell them a birthdate in which you would be 15.

haha don't worry, when I went to see paranormal activity (which was a 15) there were like 9 year olds in there.

I really don't think cinemas mind that much.

18 is more hard to get into cos people can just ask for id to check

but with 15s it's normally a how old are you and when is your bday

Used to think anyone could get away with it but my sister went to see black swan on saturday, there were 5 of them (2 of them were 15, others nearly 15) but they wouldn't let any of them in because they didn't have 'proper' ID so yeah. I used to get away with it all the time - and if you look old for your age it should be alrite, otherwise they just make you book a different film :L

I don't know if it's the same with 15 as it is for twelves I suppose not but they ask our age and we just give our date of birth and they're like *prints tickets*.

I'd try getting ID for one of you at least and be like we're all 15.

Special

but a ticket for a different film but go into 'paul'

that's what we used to do lol

Lol, i thought it was just a myth that cinemas kick you out if you're underage for 15s.

18s sure it's harder to get in if you look way underage, but i've never heard of anybody having a problem getting in to a 15s when they're under the age.

I would...but I'm almost sure they'd check that because our Cinema is like really scrutinizing...

I think I'll get a copy of my passport or a mates passport, bring my Dad along, and then be like yh we're 15 win.

I don't know why it's a 15 tho ;l looks harmless lol.

I think it's a 15 because of the swearing, it's pointless having ratings anyway cos I've watched loads of the SAW films with my brother who's 15.

If you say you're 15, they probably wont even question you. I have the opposite problem, I'm 16 and always say I'm 14 to get in for child prices :) works everytime wooo!

Hmm, you could do what Special said and buy a ticket for a different film cause thats quite easy to get away with.

*Sigh* I got asked for ID at the Birmingham cinema last year and didn't have any so had to watch some crappy film. :/ Damn looking young. ;'(

Lol that sucks.

As I said they check our film because they tell us which screen to go to but I think I can get in. I don't really know if I look 15 tbh. I SOUND 16/17 (when I DJ I get asked if I'm 16/17/18) but I don't look it lol.

You either lie and make up birthdays (it always works in my cinema although yours sounds stricter lol. our ticket guy just rips them in half and tells us what screen its on rather than caring about age!) or you see a film you can all legally see :P

in my cinema when i was 14 you could just lie and get in but now for some reason they tend to ID for 15 certificates a lot more :S and i nearly didn't get into something the other week and i was like urm

If its just a 15 you should be fine, if it was an 18 then its a different story. just give it a try but remember a 15 year olds d.o.b before you go just incase :)

Completely unrelated, but when did the words 'to the' become obsolete? ie 'we're going cinema'.

Gina

just make em act all chavvy and say "YEH WE'RE 15" and de'll let u in

Jessicrawrr

paul's only a 15 because of the rediculous amount of swearing in it, so I don't think they'd be that strict on it.
all the people under 15 have a 15 year olds birthday ready and you'll surely get in :)

If you look about 5 then you would've had no chance obviously, but I'm not even sure people check how old you are for 15 films anymore hahaha.
