I'm really hoping to find some helpful people here!

I run http://notebookinhand.com and I am in dire need of new, active, members. One of my moderators is taking a break right now. I'm hoping to greatly improve the forum, and also to go into an advertising campaign soon, so the more posts and people I have on it now, the better. So, I'm looking for people who are willing to post a few new threads each week, or even more if possible. It'd be a huge help to me. (yn)

Help me get back on my feet with this project?

It's a forum for creative people. Any and all creative people are welcome, and you don't need to be an expert. You can like creativity in anything.

I really do like the idea of the forum as a whole, I just think it could do with sprucing up a bit. The banner isn't eye catching and the forum layout is very basic and plain. Mix up the colours, add a couple of images, just liven it up a little! Whatever you decide to do, I hope the activity on your forum builds up soon! Good luck.

I agree with /shifty completely, the forum has a brilliant concept and it looks like you do actually have a few members as there is quite a few logged in at present. I might register in the near future, as I am interested to an extent into the forum and I can see it really growing. Just sort out the colour scheme, and maybe change the colours for the side bar or something just make it so that it stands out a bit more.

Good luck however ;)

Thanks for the compliments.
Right now I'm working on getting a logo made. I tried to get one made before but I just wasn't enthused about what the concept of it was (a notebook). She did a really good job and I'll use the image for sure, but it just was too sombre. I'm now getting one made that is a creative octopus. Hopefully he'll be easy to add as a logo. I have to figure out how to put him in a circle and then make the outside of the circle transparent though. Any one know how to do that?

I also really want to change the icons to something more relevant than an orange tick, but I have no idea how to do it.

Hello there, I have great forum experience and I am currently training to be an IT technician, I could help moderate your forum and maybe join my current community with yours. I have great Linguistics and Love helping people out, so basically you scratch my back and i'll scratch yours!

PM me for my msn and we can talk more :)

Hmm,

Just viewed your website,
Looks good, but layout and banner is to plain :S
Also,
I'm not going to join because I do not think I am very creative :S.
But Goodluck.
