I'm in the process of downloading Ubuntu now to put on a spare USB I have, Just in case, but I want to try it out, But i was just thinking what should I do about a driver for my Wifi, Ive had a look on RaLink and they do have a lot of Linux Drivers, But I have no idea which is the right one.

I'm running what is basically the same as the M&S Netbook on the Elonex.com site, Shameful i know, But its handy for college

Any help would be great :)

The liklihood is Ubuntu will already support it, if not plug it into your router with a cable and it'll probably find a driver.

Ubuntu instantly found my Belkin G+ MIMO USB adapter, which is based on Ralink firmware.

It also found an ASUS PCI-G31 G card.

Does it freeze on a black screen? If so when the purple splash page comes up hit space, then select English, press F6 and select ACPI=off and NOAPIC

It freezes when it says Ubuntu and it has the little red balls underneath, Im guessing i have to hit space before that?
