Anyone here remember Habboxforums.co.uk from 2004-2006?

I have no idea why I made a new account to ask you all this, but I was wondering if there are any members here from the 2004-2006 era of Habbo and subsequently HxF. I remember it being under a .co.uk domain before everything was aggregated into just a .com. I think Sierk was the head admin (where is he now?) and Callie was the Habbo admin. I think I stopped playing Habbo Hotel because Callie left and I got permanently banned on an HC account (do they even have those any more?) and I left these forums because I was permanently banned (recurring theme...eh?).

Well, those were the good old days... I was in jr high/middle school and had nothing better to do with my time than constantly play Habbo Hotel and post here. The only user that sticks out in my mind was a user named Helen and she was pretty cool, I guess. I used to post here frequently under the handles Ziploc Bag and Beef Sammich.

Anyways, I guess this serves as a nostalgia thread for any of you old timers... What's up?

I don't really remember it other than the Orange skin which I used right until it was scrapped (last year was it not?) - I remember the people though, and Discuss anything was called something else I recall. Those links to past webpages won't load for me sadly. :(

Pretty much all the people from 040506 that are regulars still don't play habbo anymore. I only come on cos I've been talking/know/whateveryouwannacallit to some people on here for yearrrs. If everyone left and there was just aload of noob sort of users *REMOVED* then I'd be outta here

Back then habbox forum would be very active and I remember there was always something going on. Not saying it isnt now I simply wouldnt know because I visit once a week or so when I get really bored and have nothing else to do.

I joined Habbo when i was 10, been here since 05 when i was about 12, i quit habbo when i was 15 and now simply browse around the forum and technology threads to see the latest news.

Im 18 now btw lol.

I remember jibbi. Hardly tho cos that was soooo long ago. When was the raf4u event on habbo and who was manager then? was it in 05 or 06

I agree. Habbo is certainly no longer "Habbo" any more. I remember visiting about a year after I left and it was already headed into a new direction. I believe the focus is now moreso on attracting business ads and younger kids with flashy and new additions constantly. That's not what Habbo (in my opinion) was about. I remember when the Gorillaz "visited" and that was totally new and unheard of, but now I think visits by celebrities are more common. I used to enjoy playing it when the furni and user interface was so simplistic and a bit archaic. It's a social hub, not a video game where we need to constantly be wowed and amazed.

Anyways, I've noticed this Discuss Anything forum is pretty sparse with about 10-20 posts or something a day. I remember back when I was a regular here it would seem so much more active. Why the shift? Also, what happened to sierk?

yeah I remember when gorillaz visited. That was during raf4u and that was the night I got my vip badge so I was like chilling with the gorillaz in the room they were in :O
That was the time when habbo only rarely had celeb visits so it was always a bigbig thing but now it's just like.. uhh not another one

Barkseh looks really familiar to me. I'll agree that Habbo isn't habbo anymore, haven't been on for years but my little brother goes on it so I've seen it recently.
