Scars

[Narnat,]

I don't know why but I have always had a thing about scars that I find interesting because there is always a story behind it! What scars have you got and how did you get them?

I only have one on my knuckle, I got it when I was in Craft and Design and I was cutting a bit of metal with tin snips and I ended up putting the bit of metal through my knuckle.

-i got a scar on my inner thigh from when my hot water bottle leaked a few years ago :'(
-a scar on my knee and knuckle from when i feel over on the astroturf in p.e because some metal rod thingy was sticking out of the ground and i trip over it. THEN the teacher had the audacity to have a go at me :l
- scar on my back from when my mum turned around with a baking tray she just took out of the oven and for some reason i was rly close :S can't remember that 100% though, it was like 10 years ago
- i've got a scar on my forehead (yeah i'm harry potter irl) but idk where it's from and it's quite small, and my dad has it in the same place so i dunno if it's a scar or not :S but it ain't a birth mark tho

Got a scar/bump thing like above my eyebrow from when i walked/tripped through glass when i was wee little baby.

- I have loads of scars on my knees from falling over
- One on my left thumb when i cut myself while cutting a scone
- One on one side of my left elbow which is where they cut to put a pin in when i dislocated my arm
- One on the other side of my left elbow where the other pin was put
- One on my forearm where a stone went in and fractured the bone ( this happened at the same time as the two above)
- One on the bottom of my left elbow when i burnt myself on the cooker cause i was lent on my arm whilst the cooker was on a slipped.

I have a massive scar on my right arm where I put my hand through glass and had to have plastic surgery to bond the skin back together.

That is about it though!

I have 2 on my leg, one I don't know about and one because I broke a mirror and it sliced me open. And another cos i was play fighting with my dog :D

A scar on my wrist where I fell through the ceiling (unbelievable but true) and a scar around the bottom of my nose where it had to be re-constructed after I crushed it :/
o and a massive scar on my finger when I slammed it in a car door :'(

I have loads of chicken pox scars and I hate them :( hopefully they'll just fade over time.

I have 2 really noticeable scars. One is on the top of my wrist on my right hand where I burnt it on an oven in food tech in school in like year 10. The other is on the side of my left hand at the bottom of my thumb which again I burnt on an oven... I am useless with hot things, seriously.

I've got several.

I've got one on my hand from when my brother bit me (he was about 1 1/2) and I then picked the scab (being about 4) and it scarred.

I will soon have on on my head from where I'm having surgery to remove something.

And I have a few around my legs etc. from falling over, cutting myself (not like self-harm) and whatever.

What can I say, I'm accident prone..

It's rather embarrassing.
We had a loft conversion, and the floor hadn't been put down so there's was just massive wooden beams that you had to step on (Loft bathroom). Basically I slipped and as the ceiling is only plasterboard I feel right through - I also broke my leg but no scar.

have one on the inside of my top lip (dont have that thing that attaches ur lip to ur gum) cuz same reason as above :)

I used to have loads but most have faded now. I've only got one that stands out which is on my little toe from when glass fell on it.

I have one along my elbow, and also one on my head.

The one on my head i find amusing, seeing as my mother was 'clumsy' (yes i also was dropped on my head, several times to be exact (A)).
But basically what she did was, she was holding me, turned round and my head hit the corner of the fire surrond. :P

I also have 3/4 scars on the inside of my mouth where i have bit through my lip falling over or when i've had a number mouth at the dentist

- Right side of my lip from having my tooth go in through it (5 stitches that night, what a fun hospital trip! lol)
- Just above my bum from a surgery back in 05' (looks like a bullet wound scar =P lol)
- Inner thigh on my right leg from falling off my back backwards and getting my leg stuck in the moving wheel
- Middle finger on my light hand from a staple left over from Christmas lights

Too many scars to count. I have a few little ones on my arm from when I had this really bad skin thing years ago and a big one on my knee from when I cut it open and managed to go down several layers of skin after falling off my bike :( also have this little red dot under my eye, it looks like a burst vein. :S

a temp one from a really nasty scratch my dog gave me but it's fading

I have one on the underside of my arm..pretty faint but it was from a Science lesson like 7 years ago from a really hot bunsen burner tripod..

I used to have this P shaped scar on my forehead which sort of faded into nothing after around 3-4 years but it was when my sister carved it into my head. I dunno if she was trying to call me a penis for life or what though

and I had a cut that I picked the scab off not long ago.. waiting to see if that turns into a scar or something

I have one on my belly from a op when my appendix burst.

Couldn't get a decent picture with my phone cus I cba to get the digi cam, but I got this one when I actually grabbed hold of some barbed wire whilst walking in the countryside one day about 9 years ago, forgot there was barbed wire and cut my hand open.

got a massive one that runs along the inside of my cheek from where i cut my face open when i was like 4 and they had to sew it all back together ahaha.
got one on my hand from the fryers at mcdonalds, one on my wrist from the grill at mcdonalds and one on my arm from the fries basket at mcdonalds.
one on my middle finger from chopping an apple once and missing, ahaha.
one on my foot where i got bit by something on the beach once and i thought it was like a spot so i squeezed it and it scarred.
and finally a couple on either knee where i picked cuts from when i was a kid aha :)

oh god where do i start.

1. in the corner of my right eye, i had impetigo and it scarred
2. on my right forearm (same as above)
3. back of my neck, a microdermal piercing got ripped out.
4. one of left forearm from chicken pox
5. one on my left hand index finger (cant remember what it's from)
6. middle finger on right hand - using a jigsaw in carpentry and the blade snapped and went into my finger
7. (my latest one!) caught my knuckle (index finger, left hand) on a wooden rack at work and took a huge chunk out of my knuckle.
8. one on my stomach to the right belo my belly button - went over the handlebars on my bike.
9. about 3 inches across my right cheek (its ******* noticable as well :( ) when me and my ex got a kitten, the little ***** attacked me when i was asleep.
10. right knee, size of a 50p coin, tripped over and a really small tree stump went like through my knee cap.
11. same knee, just below. no idea.
12. left knee, hockey ball to the knee and it split.
13. on my little toe on my left foot, caught it when swimming in a river.
14. bottom of my right foot, stood on a opened tin of soup that was empty.
15. corner of my mouth where my ex punched me (lol).

i hope that excites you all.

One on my arm from when i was in food tech and the tray slid onto my arm.
A couple on my legs from when i had these random spots all up my leg (took a year to get rid and I managed to fade all the other small scars with Bio Oil, otherwise my legs would be spotty and strange)

I only have a small scar under my eye, from when i was little i fell down the stairs and somehow my eye was close to getting sliced.

I've got 12 scars on my left foot from when I lost my shoe and had to walk from the shop to my house, and I stood on allot of glass.
I've got a scar on my hip bone from a party where I was shoved into something, don't know what.
