Gears 3 release date and Battlefield 3 trailer,

Gears 3 release date confirmed and beta info coming this week.


We told you something big, and Gears of War 3-related was coming today, and the time has come. Calendars at the ready? Good, as Gears of War 3 has been dated for a September 20, 2011 worldwide release - bar Japan, where the game will launch two days later.

Microsoft have confirmed that a new multiplayer mode called 'Beast Mode' will be present where you play as the Locust Horde, as well as five vs. five multiplayer and four player co-op play. Also coming are new maps and weapons.

The date for the public multiplayer Beta will be "coming soon."

The battlefield 3 trailer was also released today...

Really excited for gears 3, cant wait to see some info on the beta. Battlefield 3 is looking great, looking forward to seeing more.

The Battlefield trailer was all so fast I didn't really get an idea of what was going on. However, the was a slowed down version which gave a better idea of the game, and I will certainly be buying it.
