First off, my music teacher is in this band (he's the bass guitarist) and they're pretty epic. They got a contract with virgin records around Xmas and are releasing their first single (and album) sometime this year.

Check them out, it may not be your style but they are good. I didn't think I'd like them but I'm actually growing to them :)

I know, it's weird. They're still very small time despite doing these festivals so I'm trying to spread the word because they deserve their big break :)
