It's to get rid of the marketplace.
I know some people will think this is dumb, but personally I feel the marketplace has destroyed quite a few aspects of habbo.
For example; Rare values on fansites - no1 uses them (much) because they can simply check the value on the MP.
They also ruined the value of some rares. With them being readily available on the MP the price of HCs and such dropped dramatically.
Finally, it's just not needed. They were fansites with RVs for a reason, trade cities for a reason, and rares for a reason. The MP pretty much destroyed my final bit of Habbo that I enjoyed. So lets try and get rid of it eh?
