View Full Version : Will I ever adapt to new runescape skills?

I love every skill even though some of them can be a pain in the ass. There are two skills I despise, dungeoneering & summoning. The reason I hate the skills is probably because I hate change. All the other skills have been there since I joined (Properly). I wish Jagex just stopped adding stupid skills. If they want to make the game harder or to give those higher levels "something to do" make the skills longer.

Do you guys like dungeoneering or summoning. I tried both and although summoning is helpful I still hate it.

I really hate Dungeoneering and can't see myself ever getting a decent level in it, but I don't mnd Summoning. The only problem is the price. I have nearly 3000 charms from getting 99 range but to use them all will cost a bomb and I don't exactly have a fortune on RuneScape.

I personally really like dung, I can just never seem to find a decent team to dung with. Summoning, well, I've only trained that for some extra total level. When I started Runescape the first skill they added was Slayer, I think. I've seen the game change alot over the years.

When summoning first came out I didn't really take notice and never picked up charms from drops. I resent that now because it's kinda difficult to get charms unless you camp monsters with high drop rates. I still train my summoning now whenever I have a good amount of crimson charms and I love all of the familiars you can get to boost your stats, heal you, etc.

As for dungeoneering, I started it with a few friends when it first came out and couldn't really get into it. Probably just because we were crap at it. Now that so many people train their dungeoneering, it's easier to understand and get a team so I love it. I'm staying at 85 for now but if I'm ever bored I know that I'll be able to find a team pretty easily that know what they're doing.

Summon isn't so bad, but getting the charms just take the piss.

I've loads of charms, about 300 gold and 300 green, 150 crimson and 20 blue. Wait, is that a lot? I'm level 38 summoning, how high would that get me?

I have yet to try dungeoneering though, doesn't interest me.

If you were here for hunter you were here for summoning.

But I like dungeoneering, not so much summoning. Dungeoneering I find helpful to train several levels at once (mainly mining, smithing, attack, def, str & hp), and I also enjoy it. But summoning I think takes too long.

I've never even attempted Dungeoneering, and I've only managed to level Summoning via the XP Genies xD! I just find them dull to be honast.

If they didn't add them, then there would be a hell of a lot more maxed players, and a lot of people bored wanting more.
Summoning has great benefits as well, although it took me a month to actually understand it... you have points and a timer?!?!?
But yeah, I just ignored that, trained it and reaped the rewards.
