Functional Skills anyone ?

Is anyone being made to do this rediculous functional skills rubbish ?

Its like either maths english or ict exam like same level of GCSE.

I have done and passed my maths GCSE but being made to do this maths skills thiggy. hour nd half exam for nothing basically. Something the government decided to bring in to make us do even more work.

Just wondered if anyone else is being made to do these and what they think about it all ??

Yeah, and all my class are there for EMA so I don't get the chance to learn even if I wanted to. (I do, but impossible lol)

Haha funnily enough today we had functional skills in maths today :L We had to make a farm and do the cost's and stick to the rules and stuff :L was quite funny i just kept shouting at my partner :') But yeah we do it in lesson but i think we have a functional skills exam in yr11

ohh cool, wll see im like in year 13 now nd done all my gcse's and stuff :P i had it today had to make phone pokets and cost and stuff just seams soo pointless..

Tell me about it. We just spend the time ranting at our teacher about how pointless they are as we have already done it all at school. If we wanted to do more maths i wouldnt have chosen to do a sports course at college :/ lol

That is exactly what we do. We're like "We didn't take ICT to do maths and english" :P

But anyway, found out today that I have completed all my functional skills so I wont be doing it again for a whole year! :D
