Yello.

Basically the PC I have at the moment, although a legend, is coming to an end really. Everything is running slowly, you can't have more than 2 internet browsers up without incredible lag, so yeah.

I was wondering if anyone could get me a good spec at a place like pcspecialist.co.uk?

I've got the monitor, keyboard and mouse and just need the CPU (with an OS).

I just want a fast PC with a decent graphics card which can run PC games just fine. Also if it has a decent amount of memory that would be well awesome!

Cheers all.

Change the Graphics card to a HD 6850, pick a pretty case, maybe get yourself a 2TB HDD, and it'll come in at under £700. Not bad for that. I assume you are replacing the Pentium 4?

sorry for like a bump and a triple post but....

are these specs any good for the price (£450)?

also: ignore the heatpipe cooler system, so altogether it would be around about £435

Looks good for the price, however the graphics will suck as its integrated.

MicroATX motherboard and integrated graphics doesn't bode well, but that's just my personal preference. Well, the integrated graphics i'd never recommend!

Get an ATI 5750 (would say a 5770, but it's cheaper!) and get a normal ATX motherboard. :)

It's about £350 worth of hardware and software, so not that great of a deal.
