I think it would be good. I mean sometimes your in the mood to just write and there isnt really anywhere to post it. Spam and the thread will disappear and its kinda a bit self depricating to describe your work as spam, Discuss anything and the thread does not really fit in,Its like , Thread about pets, thread about whats your favourite food, thread about favourite colors, MY WRITING :D .
Lol. Theres no where really to post writing.
I think it would encourage creativity to have this forum.:)

Being a creative writer, I love this idea! But the thing is, how many other people are on the forum that would use it, sort of need to think if it's worth it if it'll only be us 2 posting ;)
I'd love to see this though.

Education is where I'd put it. No need for an extra forum which probably won't be used a lot.

I have to agree with these Conservative views... get it.. haha i'm so funny... not.
In all seriousness though, there's no need for an extra forum on something like this, Creative Writing should really go in education and maybe it's not for education purposes but it'll best be suited in there.

I wouldn't be interested in this, so I vote no. It's not like there's even many threads on this topic so there's obv no point

I belive this is as there is no place to put them. I mean if you just post a lone creative writing thread it looks a bit wierd among random other threads.

Education forum. That's for anything school related, English creative writing is school essentially. I put my poem in there did I not?
Inseriousity.

There have been numerous writing forums in the past, all of them have been merged due to inactivity so sorry but I'd just find somewhere else to put it. Discuss Anything imo :)

This. It's been tried before and hasn't worked and they would be fine to be posted in Discuss Anything. People have posted poems and short stories in Discuss Anything before and they haven't seemed out of place.

Yeah there's been a couple before (especially the Book forum which I thought was a great idea) but sadly it died with inactivity. Shame really.

I agree with this. I was a supporter last time but it soon fizzled out. :(
It's probably worth a Sub-Forum? If not add it into Discuss Anything

The last few literature forums have been a failure - popular for a week, then no one posts in them
Discuss Anything sort of fits in surely?

I'm not going to write a long post 'cos I'm sure there's been one recently, must have been a chat in hxhd or something.
There's been many creative writing forums in the past. Do you say any now? Why do you think that there aren't any? Like Dom said, they start off popular and then become inactive and a waste of space. There's not many of these threads, past or present. Discuss Anything is where I'd put them (I wouldn't put it in Education personally as who says it is to do with my education and not a hobby?) if you were interested in showing off your work.

I'm all for this. I could post some of my coursework I was quite proud of. :)
wouldn't work, people get bored of them easily.
