Yeah, I normally don't post pictures of what I do to my car but I can't not post a picture of this, I'm dead impressed.

So it had a normal bumper before with running lights (lol boring), and so I bought a new sports bumper, a mesh grille and foglights (all OEM). Sprayed the full bumper myself using Halfords rattle cans, yeah, Halfords rattle cans lol and it's a surprisingly really good match. Machine polish it next weekend and it'll be glossy as the rest of the car :) ... not cleaned it in two weeks oml. So just need to buy some better fog bulbs, going to get the same as my heads which are Osram nightbreakers. Wahoo. Well impressed and proud of it. Had to retrofit the foglights, wired them all myself. My hands are sore and bleeding slightly but HEY it's all part and parcel of having a car. Next I've got to refurb my spoiler... the old owner sprayed it badly and the lacquer is peeling. :)

Here it is:

That's quite a good looking car :P Looks like a professional job from the pictures you've provided. How long did this all take?

Took me about a week to spray the bumper (including prepping and waiting for the paint to dry), 7 hours to remove the old and fit the new bumper and then about 3/4 hours today to wire them up properly. thx :)

Looks as good as new :) It's weird seeing previous model cars in all their shining glory.

Was your car pre-wired for the fogs, or did they have to add a switch?

I had to wire them in myself, they're retrofitted.

I have the plugs, but I'd have to buy a new fusebox and get the BSI updated which is 60£ in itself.

Cheers Ryan, it's not that old!!

Na not as of yet Dan, got a few plans though. I refurbed the alloys when I got it but they're not as good as I was hoping, they had severe kurbing when I got the car, not so bad now! Summer'll spray them again.

When the sun's out I'm going to nip it up to the hills and take a few photos with my friend's car to add to my portfolio of photography :P ..

It's all good in the hood. ;)

ta for all the good comments.

Looks great, ill be doing this myself soon but been putting it off for ages because of the weather outside and thats the only place I can spray :P

Out of interest, how did you wire up the fogs? Im wanting to retrofit some to mine, is it simply cut into a 12v, then an earth and insert a switch to cut the power to them so their not constantly on, or is it harder than this?

That's the easiest way to do it rly, fuse the wire though. I used relays and stoof though but that's cus mine links in with the cars electrics too but yeah that's the easiest way to do it :)
