You can do that?
You can do that?
Yeah you can, my dad owns his own business and he does this for advertisment rather than giving his mobile number out

Sorry for hi-jacking the thread but I'd love to know how to do this, would make things very easy for me. When someone rings the 1800 number is it free of charge? So basically they ring you for **** all?
No, you pay the fee - and to forward to a mobile number, it costs even more

What if I am to point it to my Landline number, will I then have to pay for the fees, i understand my customers don't as it's an 0800 number.

Yeah you will, that's how it's free to the customers - cause you are paying for it

Have you any idea of the rates if it is pointing to my landline phone?
It really depends where you buy it from, from a quick search, average seems to be £4-5 /month rental, then 3-5p /minute for the call.
However, the link you posted http://0800.uk2numbers.co.uk/0800-Numbers.cfm seem to have some good deals on:
Call Plan 1: FREE Line rental & 2p per minute for incoming calls (Default tariff).
Call Plan 2: £4.50 Line rental, 500 Free Minutes per month & 2 pence per minute.

Thanks very much for that, would you recommend using these people, ifso, I will buy from them.
Can't find anything which goes against them, and they've been going for a pretty long time - I'd say go for it

Orange offer this I think, I heard it on the radio while I was at work.
Are you sure it didn't mean "Free to call 0800 numbers from mobiles on their network" ?

Yeah, I am pretty sure that Orange don't offer 0800 numbers ;) and these are meant for businesses.

Sorry, apologies. Orange are offering local numbers that redirect to a mobile number.
