Never had that although I've not been on in about a month.

Used to go on it almost daily after the merge until recently.

I used to get that when I cloned using chrome and I just control f5ed and it was all fixed.

It's happenining to me too. The thing about the news though, on fireforx or internet explorer, the background of the news is transparent, which I like.. :s

Happens to me on google chrome whenever I go on another character in the hotel on my clone.

It happens to me and laggs really bad but after it's been up once then it fixes itself.

It hasn't happened to me but, is there a scroll on the bottom of your client? If so, you should be able to scroll over to the right to cancel the news pop up.

Happens to me all the time on Chrome - just scroll to the right and there'll be an x to close it :).

They have fixed it now, along with the wired switch box...
