Hey, I posted part of this poem before, but never posted the finnished poem (I don't think so anyway)
basically it was for a contest about a lover who turns crazy and kills his partner (dark, I know.) I didn't win anyway, probably because it wasn't dark enough but whatever :P. Here it is.

My dearest girl, how pretty you look.
I loved you so, my heart, you took!
I opened my guard, I lowered my shield.
I loved you so, but hatred can’t be healed.

My dearest bride, how elegant you seemed.
I loved you so, you’re now a fiend.
The fire has spread, all over the rug.
Hell is waiting, your grave, I’ve dug.

My dearest wife, how great we were,
I loved you so, my words now slur.
I’ve drank too much, this is the last,
For onece more, I reminisce our past.

My dearest friend, I wish you were.
You deliberately hurt me and left no cure.
I’d like to think, this isn’t the end
But we are broke, there is no mend.

You cheated on me, and for that you’ll pay,
Do the ropes hurt? What do you say?
I can’t hear you, it is too late,
The flames emerge, they’re full of hate.

On this day, it marks a year,
Since we were wed and I began to fear.
That you would cheat, have an affair,
You did just that, but I don’t really care.

Karmas a *****, just like you
If only you understood the pain I’ve been through.
I’m doing just that, I hope you’re in pain
I hope we both die, not in vain.

My dearest wife, or should I say ex?
The curse you laid, your spell, your hex.
You cursed me with love, how bitter, how sweet,
It won’t be long until we meet.
A minute, or two, it can’t be long,
I’m choking on smoke, the pain, be gone!

My dearest girl, I hope you'll see,
the afterlife’s a pleasanter place to be.
No more lies, we’ll have a fresh start,
As that vicar once said, “Till death do us part”
