This advertisement needs more information, why should I choose Student Crèche over The Student Room?
Also, this line from your post:
A student forum for GCSE, A Level and University students to discuss matters pertaining to student life, university and career options.
reminds me far too much of The Student Room's:
Where GCSE, A Level and university students share academic and social knowledge: from study help, to choosing a university, careers, and student life.

To be honest, I think targeting the website at all three education areas is a big place to start. You want to build one community, which really means targeting one area.
Just my thoughts :)

If there's enough demand for other education systems to be integrated within the site, then I don't see any reason as to why there shouldn't be a specific section to accommodate such people. :)

Without being disrespectful, that's like asking what's the point of 02, Vodaphone and GiffGaff 'cuz After all we have Orange...?
Having said that, I totally understand the point you've made. Why should one abandon TSR and join Student Creche? The answer is very simple, DON'T abandom TSR as it's a brilliant site. However, join the revolution at Student Creche. The site is run by medics (including some Dentists), so they're very passionate about their studies. The aim is to build a community of students and help them reach their potential.

That's a valid point. However, it's all touch and go at the moment.

FINALLY, I'd like to thank you guys for an amazing welcome to this forum! A part of me was worried that I would be facing immense hostility. This is what it's about though isn't it? Building a friendly community. Kudos to you all!

No, it isn't like that. I never asked what the point of your site was. It's more like asking why should I choose a well established phone network like O2 over a brand new, much smaller, much lower budget phone network set up in someone's spare time.
You say "join the revolution", what's revolutionary about your site?
Also, all over your site you've used the wrong e, you have é, it should be è :)

It's no secret that the British Government has made things MUCH MORE DIFFICULT for the next generation of college and university students. This blow should not wreck the confidence of students applying to university and college. In fact, we should all unite and remain upbeat. This might not apply to you or the people you know, but it certainly applies to me and the people I know. Can I also add, as the saying goes "Rome wasn't built in one day"...?

That was some lovely rhetoric (that's the first time I've ever used that word, I almost certainly used it wrong) but you didn't respond to any of my points and completely ignored my question.
