I was in town and game had this booth with 4 xbox 360s with a portal 2 demo. So here's the rundown:
Pros:
- It is awesome, beyond awesome.
- The levels (at least the few i played) are HUGE. and require a lot of thinking.
- Loading times are much shorter, you don't load between each puzzle just every few puzzles
- The same dark humour as in portal 1 is there, and it's goooood, very good.
- Graphics are much better
- Physics engine is improved
- Faith plates <3
Cons:
- JAGGIES. JAGGIES EVERYWHAR. Seems like there's no AA on the 360 version, don't know about the PS3 or PC.

highly doubt they'd ever not put aa on pc version
They had AA on the Orange Box for both PS3 and 360.
Obviously didn't happen on the PC.
I reckon its for framerate purposes as the game is a long way from release.
I just hope there isnt much in terms of combat as i hate combat in the games running on the source engine (apart from cs:s for obvious reasons)
I cannot figure out what AA is :'( someone tell me.
Also i cannot wait.

Anti-anialising or something like that (smooths edges in games).
Anyway I just finished portal for my first time and tbh portal 2 will rock, coop ftw.
Gonna play co-op with my mum I think.

It's 2 weeks 2 days away from release. Also I hope there isn't any combat too... but it isn't running on the source engine... it can't be... ;S

At the PC bit, I think he was referring to the use of AA on the orange box. I'd be pretty confused if it wasn't on PC, considering they said PS3 buyers get a code for the PC version :D.
Also after finishing portal, I can understand why that song is epic.

Oh?
I haven't looked much into Portal 2 yet.

Valve (http://games.ign.com/objects/026/026417.html), creators of best-selling game franchises (such as Half-Life and Counter-Strike) and leading technologies (such as Steam and Source), today announced the Steam features shipping with the PlayStation 3 (PS3) version of Portal 2 (http://ps3.ign.com/objects/064/064329.html).
Marking the debut of Steam functioning on any next generation console, the features shipping in the PS3 version of Portal 2 include cross platform play (PC/Mac vs. PS3) for multiplayer games, persistent cloud-based storage of PS3 saved games, and cross platform chat (PC/Mac and PS3).
In addition, those who purchase Portal 2 for the PlayStation 3 may unlock a Steam Play (PC & Mac) copy of Portal 2 at no additional cost by linking their PSN and Steam accounts.

Wonder if it's a limited time offer, or if it will still work when the game goes down to under £20
It's 2 weeks 2 days away from release. Also I hope there isn't any combat too... but it isn't running on the source engine... it can't be... ;S
