Helloo, just need a little help with vbulletin. Like habbox forum when you get a new PM or VM, it shows a notification bar at the top of the forum. How would I get this on my vb?

+Rep!

Many thanks,
Ben

What do you mean a notification bar? A black bar on the top or when you click Notifications?

When it says "You have 1 new private message" or vm.

For a very basic one:

In the Style Manager, open the template "navbar" and find the following code:

<!-- / nav buttons bar -->

<br />

Add this code directly below:

<if condition="$bbuserinfo[pmunread]">
<table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" align="center">
<tr>
<td class="thead"><a href="private.php"><div style="text-decoration:none;">You currently have $bbuserinfo[pmunread] Unread Private Message(s)! Click Here!</div></a></td>
</tr>
</table>
<br />
</if>

Open up "navbar" in the theme you wish to edit, then press Ctrl + F and copy and paste the below.
<!-- / nav buttons bar --> If it doesn't find it then hit backspace, until it does; as yours could be named differently such as
<!-- / NAVBAR POPUP MENUS -->

P.s Navbar is under Navigation / Breadcrumb Templates

I do yes, but I never go online.
I have work now, but you can just whack that code in anywhere in the navbar template, send yourself a PM, and see where the notification bar pops up and then adjust it accordingly.

Or you can place it directly under

<!-- / notifications menu -->

Which should be near to the very bottom of 'navbar'
