Global agenda becoming free to play

The way I see it, global agenda failed so badly that they now need to make it free to play or take it offline. It must suck to have been one of those people who bought an £80 lifetime subscription pre-release. I was tempted to buy one myself but it turned out to be a silly co-op game that was nothing like what they advertised.

What are your thoughts?
