Recently, as you may well know, there has been a plane crash near Athens.

My heart goes out for those who's lives were lost in the crash, And I say I am terribly sorry for anyone who has lost a friend or relative in it.

May those who lost their lives rest in peace.

So are you saying you don't care about the hundreds of thousands of people whose deaths are in vain every day from murder, disease and other horrible causes?

You think that only 150 people die every day?

You should think about expanding your knowledge further than the news on TV.

Not saying that those deaths were'nt tragic

(PS sorry if I offended anyone. I haven't had my afternoon coffee yet).

I didn't expect many replies to this. It's good to see that many people have respect for things like this.

Its besides the point, but for arguments sake, Athens is closer to home, this kind of manmade catastrophe is rare whereas sadly death is part of everyday life for people in countries such as Niger.
Anyway, RIP for all those that have died.

You have a good point, but the way these people died was very tragic, they froze to death, they found 2 normal people trying to fly the plane because the pilots froze. There last moments must of been scary.

most people wer're already frozen but the question is why we're so high up?

They sent up 2 mig23 and a hairrier because they lost it on radar.

Yes it must have been scary there was nothing they could do the engens we're going 2 stall due to the coldness then it would have been a nose dive from there :(

I'm also going on a plane 2 morro. This story dosent make me scard as i know a lot about planes.

God bless

Sad but since that, 2 others crashed again. We must get used to that and accept it as simple a fact of life. Let us all be prepared to rest in peace...

The fact that I'm gonna die one day is the thing that keeps me going.

My regards go out to the families of the poor sods who died in the Venezuelan plane crash.
