Just a random question because as I think about it, I literally had no change in lifestyle because of it. I mean, my dad got made redundant but then started another job 1 week later so it was practically like normal still.

If anything we've spent more money.

A little but not much tbh, and i'm living in one of the worst hit countries. It hasn't really affected me much but i know people who have been affected badly.
Inseriousity.

My dad's a self-employed painter and trade dried up. It got to the point where we were considering bankruptcy so yeah it was very bad for us :(. Luckily we've managed to come out of it the other side and we're bringing small luxuries back but not going too crazy (going out once a month rather than once a week for example)

My Dad had to be cut from around 40 hours a week to around 25 but I didn't notice it that much.

Luckily it hasn't, perhaps a few cut backs here and there but nothing major.

Not really, however my dad was redundant for ages meaning a short break to france last summer, however know, although being on a slightly lower salary we can afford a holiday more expensive than previous years. other than holidays I've not noticed any other changes.

Not really at all. Maybe just in a really small way, but nothing which is that noticeable or big.

Well the cost of food is really going up all the time and I suspect that with inflation rising as it is and the VAT rises it is going to really cut into the family budget in months to come.

It hasn't affected my family drastically, but it's still affected us slightly. Not very much though.

Yes it affected me majorly. Though I won't go into detail about my financials affairs xD
We've cut back loads, we're not going on family holidays no more, my mums buying less food shopping. So yeh we have been affected.

Haven't noticed any changes - still go on holidays, still buy things - guess I am lucky.

hasn't affected us at all. We still buy/do the same things that we did before the recession, but obviously it does cost a bit more now :P

When the real NHS cuts come then we'll probably keep our eye on things. If anything we buy more stuff atm.
