Those kind of crazy auctions used to do very well. Lately there are so many people trying to get rich on Ebay with their stupid auctions. Lots of greedy people who have auctions asking for donations now. If you can write a good sympathetic life story in a couple paragraphs you can make some money on ebay just by asking people for money.

Completely confused by that statement. Ebay is the first place most people go to when trying to sell something. There are thousands of businesses that have factorys and retail stores and yet a majority of their business is generated through the sale of their items online.

I make more money than both of my parents combined through selling on Ebay and I wouldn't try to sell it anywhere else because Ebay is the future of the retail and wholesale marketplace.

The craze has died down and most of these "weird items" don't sell anymorer. The Golden Palace Casino occasionally bids on weird or creative auctions for the publicity of it. Most of these auctions are for advertisement or nototriety.
