Youtube Lag?

Is it just me or is youtube and youtube videos laggy? :S

I am, it's taking an absolute age to download even the shortest of videos. I checked it wasn't my internet on other sites, but it was working fine on them.

They load perfectly fine for me, it could be just as simple as you're trying to access videos at peak times and the youtube servers are slower to respond because of the strain.

This was happening to me yesterday as well, although only with some videos - not all.

I think it all depends what time you go on YouTube and what the server load is. Generally speaking, during the 'peak period' videos are slower and often buffer.

You could also try clearing your cache and deleting your cookies as that can sometimes help :D

It's all good now, I think youtube was going through some maintenance yesterday. I've heard alot of youtubers say they couldn't upload anything yesterday because of it.
