So yes, What is the maximum you'd spend on a single piece of clothing? By clothing I mean a single item for example, a jumper, a pair of jeans or even an accessory.

Well unless I get a significant pay rise in the future I think I reached my maximum limit when I bought a pair of vintage boots for £175, which I don't regret paying as I'm still in love with them.

I don't really have that much disposable income but I'd say about £100. It depends what it is and where its from. If it is a nice piece of designer clothing, I'd probably pay the price to be really honest. Silly I know :P

really depends i think the most expensive causal i have at the moment is a JW hoody for about £69? Er but my ski jacket etc cost more than that because it's specialist and then like prom dresses i'd spend more.

I don't go mad on splashing out for pointless items of clothing when I can get something similar for a cheaper price.

I could easily spend a couple of hundred on say a nice jacket or something, I'm a sucker for branded clothing :P I wouldn't think twice about paying £80 for a polo or something, I have multiple Lacoste, Fred Perry, Lyle & Scott, Voi and RL polos. I think my most expensive clothing I have ever bought are my Armani jeans which cost me £320. Like others have said, when/if I have the money, I will splash out on designer clothing.

What a waste.

There is this **** in my year who is obsessed with buying anything that makes him look cool/fashionable/rich. Despite the fact he is not anything like wealthy.

Bought a pair of £140 shoes, then a few months later spent £82 on a pair of sunglasses - that imo are grim anyway.

---

I refuse to spend much on average clothing. Never seen the point in spending loads, considering I would probably get rid of it in a years time.

I do have a few bits and bobs worth a fair amount, but in general naa.

I take it you very rarely spend that lol. If you do, you are clearly a mug.

£600 for a suit? Hate to point this out, but "Matalan" do suits for £50 - which really are not that bad (I don't own any myself, but know of people who do - and they are bloody impressive for the price).

about a £100 depending on how nice the item is.
though i usually try to avoid expensive clothes shops because i'll know i'll end up heartbroken so i usually stick to cheap vintage shops :}

Depending on if this is based on my current wages or my wages when I get rich (yh its gonna happen just wait ;l)
atm, I'd probably spend anything above £30 starts to sound expensive if it's my own money, but if it's something I love then I would go up to like £100, as long as it's not like £100 for a pair of boxers :L
