Pretty simple question. What is your definition of a Crush?

I personally think it is a late stage of admiring someone.

I personally think it is when you have feelings for someone who you hardly know, those feelings tend to be physical, as in you are attracted to them, you do not yet know much of their personality.

It then moves onto fancying, whereby you have developed a friendship with a person and you now know a little bit about them and their personality traits.

Then lust, whereby you want to express your feeling to that person more, you think you know all there is to know about them, you think your in love, you keep telling yourself that (s)he is the one for you etc..

Then love.. whereby I can't describe. :D

- My opinion - It's a touchy subject, it's hard to define, you just KNOW.

I think its when ur rather attracted to a person (mentally or physically) but not currently with them. I think its pretty much the same as fancying someone just a different term.

I think having a crush on someone and fancying someone are close, but still different.

Having a crush on someone is a desire to be with a person you're attracted to and fancying someone is just liking someone in a sexual or emotional way.

You see, My thread has a valid point. I often see people take the mick out of some of the younger users when they say they have a ''Crush'' on someone but to be honest what you would regard as a crush and what they would are sometimes the total opposite of each other.

I pretty much agree with this tbh, and in my opinion this is an excellant view :P

Lust is the first thing that happens, it's the basis of all (real) relationships because it's so instinctual and not something you can help feeling.

Not at all, they're not the same thing. Love is an extremely powerful emotion and a crush is just an ongoing lust for someone

Crush is not being obsessed with the person but like every time they pass you something going bright red or when they talk to you being like :D

I think a crush is the step before classing yourself as ''in love with someone'' - the stage where you just like them a tad more than everyone else. Not in the stage where you only have eyes for them, just before.

People say I have a crush on a girl and I would describe my feelings for this girl as liking everything about her, but I just don't consider what I feel as a crush, it just feels like more because, yeah I think she's beautiful but when she's upset I'd give anything to see her smile again.

But taking that into consideration I think a crush is before love, liking someone for a short amount of time.

That would be your opinion. The question being asked is what is YOUR definition. - That is mine.
I believe lust is the desire of sexual acts.. Perhaps some people look at girls/boys around on the street and want to "bang" it, but I'm not like that, I tend not to bang anything that moves lol. Therefore to me, lust is when you are wanting to move on to such actions; which is why most people say that young people do not "Love" they "lust" due to sexual frustration.

What a bizarre question.

I guess for me it is when you have feelings for someone else, without them knowing?

Totally agree, then in my opinion, it become fancying them when you decide to tell them? :)

I lust after money but I don't want to unzip and have my wicked way with it. Lust has a real definition as it's a word, not a coined term :P

lol! Fair play! - I'm just going by the definition that it has subsequently earned due the the sheer amount of people who have fell into the trap of "false love"

a "crush" to me is lust, like a little bit more than just saying "i would".
i don't see "a crush" as a relationship thing.

i don't know why, but, i don't ever think crushes actually turn into anything (for me.)
when i go outt, it always comes unexpectedly.

Uhmm. From what I feel when I'm having a crush, crush is more towards scientific things. It's not like the pure love you felt with your family. The family/sibilings love is more towards spiritual things but crush is more towards scientific things. To narrow it down, it's your hormones going crazy/acting out when you are having a crush on somebody lol

I agree with what GirlNextDoor15 said.

Although I think a crush is similar to fangirling, you kinda go crazy about what they look like, what they do, try and find out a lot about them but I think you realise it's not actually gonna go anywhere. I suppose you have a crush and it kinda could turn into stalking a little bit :')
