Well, exactly as the title says really, do you leave it bog standard, do a few things here and there?

Feel free to post pictures as examples or w/e

As of right now, I'm yes and no. My car is only a year old and still has warranty which I'd quite like to keep. In a couple of years time when it gets older and the finance is paid off, I'll start to do some mods. As of right now, I'm just looking into either lowering springs or coilovers.

The only personalisation I have on my car is 2 big crosses on my doors that my cousin so kindly scratched in. Other than that, no.

factory only parts, limited to wheels mostly. i don't keep vehicles long enough to make them worth personalizing.

i did get ipod integration kit installed in my new car :O

The only minor thing I've done is add a Official Ford Tax Disc Holder which was a Christmas present :P The rest is all standard stuff.

I don't have a car, but I will say what I will do when I have a car.

I won't personalise it at all really. It isn't really my 'thing'. I think loads of cars that change bits just make them look too 'boy-racer' ish for my liking - tacky, basically.

When I get a car I'm gonna get a good stereo system and then maybe save up for a good paint job but apart from that I'm gonna keep it standard. I've only ever seen one kitted out car that looks good.

Action Men cars don't count.

In terms of modding I think it depends how far we go. A paint job, or even new wheels is fine. It is when it gets in to external parts like spoilers and stuff.

P.s. only teasing you gibs x :p

Depends what you mean by a paint job... why bother buying a car if you're just going to get it sprayed a different colour etc. plus it'll rack your insurance up.

& I think spoilers etc look alright if they're all O.E.M.

those rims..... MMMMMMMM

i'm defiantly taking the O'Regans badge off my 328i, while i'm at it i might just remove the model badge too. my moms fiance de-badged his car and he calls it "the silent sleeper" because now it looks like a regular s550.. but it's not ;)

Only if it needed it - and if you got a superb deal it would be worth spraying if you didn't like the colour.

I wouldn't spray it for the sake of it though

A full respray would be well over £1k including primering and laquer afterwards, not worth it at all really unless the cars worth a load more.

My current modifications are:

Wind deflectors (Team Heko)
Lowered 40mm
Higher model OEM clio alloys
Higher model OEM spoiler
Higher model OEM headlights + xenon style bulbs
Newer OEM rear lights
Silvervision bulbs all around
Dice dust caps :P
Colour coded side strips + spoiler
Fog lights added to the bumper
Sprayed the badges and diamond white
Added sport model interior handles + handbrake button
Upgraded stereo to bluetooth, USB + AUX
Upgraded speakers
900watt amp to power it all

Think thats pretty much all ive done :)

All that I've done on my car is ripped the stereo out, because it had a casette in it and it was doing my head in, so i stuck one with a CD/USB/SD in.
