How often do you clean your car?

me personally, once in the two years i've been driving lol
my dad gives it a wash if it's looking dirty or forces me to take it to the hand car wash.
it doesn't bother me too much unless it gets to the point where it's like black with dirt, that's just vile.

I never cleaned mine myself I always went to a car wash but I tended to go at least once a month :D Now I haven't cleaned it since november but it still looks very clean :$

Its usually my saturday or sunday afternoon job, every weekend. Full hand wash, hoover inside and clean dash/trim, then I polish it if i cba. But once a week yes, I hate it when my car gets dirty

i have my moms truck right now. it hasn't had a proper wash (like scrub) since probably September and the inside is really dirty. i'll take a pic tomorrow, my friends call it the "trash rover" because it's so gross :(

In the summer more often cos more birds crap on the car, but in winter about once all the way through, and the other seasons about 2 or 3 times. And we also tend to go out more in summer so gets mud and stuff, especially when we go to our caravan.

i did, but its a pain in the arse now. so many ***** in my work car park, 3 doors are badly ripple like dented, rear bumper cracked and scraped, front bumper tatty, locks hardly work, its done 161k miles now and the engine sounds like a drunk girl throwing up, the exhaust is falling off and im just bored of it lol

It doesnt help that the road to work is like always driven on by tractors/is always muddy etc.


I'm tempted to just try one of those drive through car was thingees, but I've never tried one before so not sure if they are worth it or not xD

don't go to a drive through car wash, they'll A) ruin the paint and B) rip off parts of the car you didn't even know were detachable

Yeah dont bother with the automatic washes, I took mine through the one day as emergency because I had whipped cream all over the bonnet that had melted on. The dryer of the wash bent my aerial back so it flicked, dented my roof when flicking and it then snapped :(

Mine got pretty bad recently, car full of girls turned into them finding my bag of goldbears :( cue the goldbear fight that then commenced, along with a pile of sanitry towels being thrown around, one was then signed and stuck to my rear window so had left sticky residue marks whn I pulled it off :( Theres usually always a bottle rolling around somewhere in te car too.

Car smells of winter edition sourz as of 2 days ago too because the lid came off one bottle after going around a corner and it spilt loads onto the footwell carpet :(

I know that from personal experience. My left mirror came loose and I had to wait like 10 mins until the machine stopped to I could reattach it. It's technically a good thing it happened since it was already loose, and I would've preferred it coming off then as opposed to while I was driving xD!
