Hey, I have an interview at Nando's on Tuesday so I was wondering if anyone's had a job there?
If so I have a few questions.
1. What's the interview like? (what questions do they ask etc)
2. Can you only be a server there or do you have to make some food as well?
3. What's the tattoo policy there?
Thanks

2. Depends what you're applying for - If you aren't applying for chef I imagine you won't cook stuff

yeah but i was shocked, and i know it's different, but my friends got jobs at waitrose like in the bakery and they're not just selling they're baking aswell with no training except for that offered by waitrose!

On the application form it didn't say what i'm applying for, that's why I asked.

I doubt they'll make you cook stuff if you don't want that type of job there
but surely it would of said what the job involves before you got the interview? :P

Well I used to have a job there, before I got a better one at Cineworld :')
But well, the job interview was just a normal process.. like they asked questions about past experiences which would help your job role (teamwork stuff), and just general questions, sometimes they give you that job application test to see what sort of person you are.. but I didnt have to do one for some reason..
Usually you're just a server, they employ cheffs to make the food, though once I had to help out in the kitchen as it was really busy and one of the cheffs was ill.. was a urrrr.. fun experience. hahaha!
And as I remember there is no real tattoo policy, though I dont think they like 'whole sleeves' and I wouldnt advice applying for a job anywhere if you have one on your face. just saying.. LOLS :D
Hope this helped...
one of my friends at uni works at nando's and she loves it, but it's pretty hard work. she has tattoo's though, and they're pretty visible (back of her neck) and i don't think they have a major problem over it? she does just serving i believe, but she does go into kitchen sometimes.
she does get lovely free food. om nom nom.
