It's quite good for one of your first alts, remember to save it as a .png image next time though :)

It's good but the pixels have messed up big time...

Try and pay attention detail next time!

Keep it up ;)

look sgood but the pixels in they actual curtain have messed up so you need to go and fix that with detail because otherwise it looks a bit stretched. other that that it's good well done and nice idea :)

It looks good for a first time! But you need to save it as .png so it's alot clearer, and in some places the pixels are out of place. But apart from that, it's excellent! :D

Looks good but the image comes out blurry save it as a PNG file next time.

It's really too blurry for me to comment as others have said save in PNG, but looking at it, it looks good, I feel that it is a hard piece to do with all the shading and stuff, good job :).

I'm not sure if it's because it is blurry but the line at the top looks a little uneven, but it's not too bad.

I'm amazed that people are calling it excellent;

I think it'd be a good idea if you read this tutorial. It teaches you most of the basics of pixel art:
http://rjanes.co.uk/tutorials/introduction_to_pixel_art.php

Also, remember to save it as a .png if you're using paint and a .png or .gif if you're using photoshop (which you seriously shouldn't use for pixel art).

I also recommend a program called GraphicsGale for pixel art, but it's a tad confusing to use. It's the best out there, though:

Hope this helps
