I hate MSN.

I've woken up to discover the thing has blocked all my contacts (big hoo-ray).

This is the second time it's done this. Also I receive contact's messages 10 minutes later as offline messages and they receive my messages 10 minutes later, a lot of my contacts never show as online when they are online, and when I receive a request to be added to my contacts I cannot hit accept because it claims their address is not a valid address.

I use Adium (Mac) which used to work beautifully up until, I'll say mid or late December. But are these common problems everyone using MSN is experiencing? Or if not is there actually another *good* MSN client for OS X? AMSN and Microsoft's official Mac client are probably the two worse alternatives I've ever seen.

I swear their was a browser msn sorta thing, no idea what its called or if it works though lol.

It's adium's fault I guess. It's just annoying now, I'm still using it but it's still annoying :@

my brothers works fine and always has done un-install and re install i know it's primitive but it used to work for me with everything..

MS Office 2011 for Mac comes with the newly released one as Myke said, but you should be able to find it elsewhere...

Well I find that some of my contacts are blocked too, but when I right click they don't seem to be for some reason so I block them and then unblock again and they return. Weird, though. :S

i haven't used msn in so long, i find it laggy + glitchy + tbf all of my friends have grown out of it. i use skype when i'm home from uni (to skype my friends from uni cause we're all over the country atm) and facebook chat for everything else.

I've been using Skype much more too, Its so much easier to video call someone, I still use MSN though for the people I don't have on MSN or Facebook

Your post is a bit misleading.

If your using Adium then the chances are it's a problem with Adium and not msn. Not saying msn isn't problematic as it is.

No, I never said I was using Windows Live Messenger. As you said I said I use Adium. Read my first post :)

I hate msn too!

I used to use it everyday! There was even a point where I would never come off it. Literally, as I always leave my PC on, but now-a-days I never use it.
