It really annoys me today when i searched for all the mods on duty i only found 2.
I searched all the hobbas and only found 8 Hobbas.
I went on the homepage to find 8697 Habbos
Now hows that for secuity and help!

Habbo claims the hotel is moderated 24 hours a day. Not true.
I think everytime we experience excessive problems such as someone infiltrating housekeeping I will send all of their investors an email detailing the lack of professionalism and provide them with fansite links of enraged customers.

Habbo Hotel is moderated 24 hours a day by professional moderators. Our Moderators are backed up by a team of nearly 200 Hotel Guides called Hobbas.

the last time i never saw a mod online was a few days ago at 3 ish in the morning, though Callie was online!
the only time ive seen one moderator online was most proberly when it's MOD-pants shift, as its 6 - 9 [ in the morning ] which is very quiet, she came to my calls with in 30 seconds each..
but MOD-pants aka Metz has been with MOD-Sailor at one point, [ last week i think ]

There were 3 MOD's on shift at one point yesterday as I remember. They are getting through a vast majority of calls considering the hobbas are coming back slowly but surely. Give them a break, make your calls as polite and detailed as possible and only send one. This is not appreciated by anyone. Sheesh.

following what Emma said [ Tyche ] their is sometimes hidden moderators online they could be in housekeeping or what not, there may be more than 2 in Peak hour, yet only 1 / 2 at night.. like it's MOD-Aioria and sometimes MOD-Shade on from midnight etc..
as it gets earlyer in the morning you may only find 1 mod online, which would be MOD-pants unless she became ill.

Habbo Hotel never expected their software to evolve to the point where furniture is a big aspect of the game. They put moderation of conversation before moderation of assets. Conversation is obviously more important with regards to safety but they must not forget some people play the game for the trading aspect and do spend money for that sole purpose.

Especially when there are 17 Hotels on the way, if they can't cope at the moment, they won't cope when all the hotels are made. (true it will be ages till they are fully open, but even longer if they have not got their security up).

As an investor I would not put any money into Sulake. The idea was great and if they had put some more time into developing it and making sure they knew what to expect in the future they would have far less problems. It looks as though they rushed everything from the start to make sure they were the pioneers of this new breed of entertainment, once they had it up and running the priority has been to keep the money coming in and nothing else.

the other day on my account where i actually have a password, i sent about 7 calls for help and left habbo on while i went out with my mates. no reply. no nothing. in 4 hours. :\

Well, if you try to arrange an offline meet with someone you would find yourself receiving a quick ban to show that they are there and just not listening.

TheUnspoken - Well her excuse for being online to me was "To play with my friends " which then i was alerted to she went to the RTR to play Wobble with Kenco .. she also done a few reports as there were No moderators online as she kept room swapping =/

HabboHotel.com is prity lame, it was fun for abit it got to out of hand with the scripting so i hardly go back on it =/ there moderation is very poor at peak times and hobbas are exactly powerless, wahay they had Alert; Mute ; Unmute, it would be better if they had hobbas that had the cfh alert screen as it's very poor =/
Moderators at peak times will try and get through each call, that does NOT mean within 1 minute, the users will be dealt with in time,
Moderators are known to leave calls for help so they can get Scammers.. etc..
not someone that is swearing =/
i suggest DiscountGuy you could PM Ste471 or fdb on this forum they might be able to help Ste471 = Superia hobba / MOD i don't know about fdb, but there are hobbas on here,
You could try Mizki - though i do Not recomend PMing her :)

For your calls for help being answered that all depends on a few things:
What the call is for
What was written on the call
If you send a call for help it has to be something Hobbas/Mods can deal with. Ban questions/stolen furni/getting accounts un-safety banned is all a no for the call for help, they have to be dealt with by the Help (yes it takes time but you have to be patient and wait at least 3/4 working days, Monday-Friday, before you try again).
Things that are a yes for using the call for help are:
Swearing/Avoiding the filter
Flooding
Scamming (password scams, double/triple furni scams not "Habbo1 stole my mocha" This is a help tool problem. Read scambusters http://www.habbohotel.co.uk/habbo/en/help/scam/)
Serious Harassment (if its falling out and you just don’t want someone there then don’t call)
Disruption: Blocking, telling Habbos to press F5 or ctrl+R
Cy.ber
Unacceptable (room) Names
Giving/Asking for personal details. Phone/email/address/pictures/webcam
There are others.
The call for help is for emergencies only, so if you send a call saying "I need to speak to a Hobba!" Its unlikely to get answered. Clearly State the problem "Habbo1 is swearing" "Habbo2 is harassing me". Rude/disruptive/abusive/name calling calls are also unlikely to be answered or if they are answered you are likely to be banned.
Remember that there needs to be proof so you need to call from the room the problem happened in, as soon as it happens.
Finally, (seen as this post turned more into a guide...) be patient when you call, think to yourself how important is this call on a scale of 1 - 10 from 1 being not so important to 10 being se.xual harassment. The hotel is usually very busy so it may take some time to read your call, but usually most calls are looked at.

Back onto the topic then..
On .com when they debadged the Hobba's, they should've at least have re-opened the apply for Hobba form.
Because now they hardly have any Hobba's, and when they even get Hobba's they're all Silver..
They should train most of them to be Gold, and last time when the Habbo's where given there badges, most of the people who got them where scripters. And they accessed Housekeeping, and that was .com's downfall.

How so? It is easiers for Hobbas/Mods to see actual emergencies when there arnt calls for help saying "OMG WHY HAVE I BEEN BANNED" or other calls that arnt dealt with on Habbo.
Habbos need to know where to get their help and how to get it. A lot of calls for help are unclear/lies/abusive or in other words rubbish that slows actual calls from being answered

Erm, ya' know you said there has to be proof... well I was perm banned for "scripting to alter/disrupt the hotel" with absolutely NO proof at all. The guy who reported me had even tried to error me just moments before he reported me, but luckily I had anti-error on.

for all i know, you can't be banned for scripting, as they have no proof etc etc.. anyways Ste may come back and clarify this, though he will not discuss ban related questions ! due to he may loose his Job as a MOD or evan loose his badge as a SH/Gold ( Can't remember :p ) and privacy etc..

yes ther might not have been many hobbas on the hotel but there might have been some on housekeeping working remotely?? cause some hobbas may not actually sign onto the hotel due to lag
