Guys please don't bully anyone!
There are underaged people on Habbo
and they don't want to get bullied
Yes they shouldn't be on Habbo but
they are just looking for something to pass the time
so don't start calling anyone N00BS or anything

honestly, this has been like that since the beginning of habbo times.
it's life. nothing is gonna be as smooth as butter.
but i do agree bullying is wrong, but people who are under 13
and playing habbo, shouldn't be online.

Meh. You can't tell who is how old. If we people can't take an insult online then they shouldn't be online. If you're only just saying this about online then you must be pretty new

It's just a game. Don't take it so serious. If u cant even take an insult online then u really shouldnt go online. Like Stephen said.

Loads of people get bullied on Habbo that's why it is 13+, and it's a virtual game no need to cry.

I agree with this but I've thought about this abit more shouldn't Habbo still do something to stop it going on?

calling someone a noob isnt bullying in any form anyway, its saying someones new and doesnt know what theyre doing. If you find it insulting then you need to, well, grow up or get off.

Habbo mods really do not help in situations ass that's why I have stopped using the help tool. You get scammed you report it to Habbo mods and they don't do anything about it yes I know you can't get back your furni but at least ban the person. You get people being seriously rude or abusive you send it in and they say use the Ignore tool but that person can continue being rude and abusive.

They even ignore racism, there was 2 people swearing and abusing each other in a public room. So I reported them and the MOD said 'Click ignore to ignore them' or something like that :S

Could be worse. I said "I cannot hear my habbo" (I couldnt find the volume controls, I hadn't used it in a while), I get a reply like 10 minutes later saying "use the ignore button".

Wow, that's shocking it doesn't even make sense why the MODs replied that.

Bullying is something continuous, if someone isn't happy with what is being said then they should just put them on ignore, if they don't it's their own fault.

Habbo is aimed for people 11+ (I got told as it's for adolescence or w/e what begins at age 12.) Anyway, calling someone a noob as said before is not bullying at all. I'd just take that comment on the chin as it's just stupid and hardly means anything.

Anyway, I've been playing Habbo almost three years and I still get called a noob if I had allowed it to get to me then I wouldn't be playing now would I. What a stupid thread in my opinion. At least give us proof of this or get off Habbo.

You get "bullied" in most chat room type sites tbh, even probably club penguin! haha. But yeah I've been playing around 5 years and still get called a "noob" too because I'm not VIP. tbh the people who think it's clever to "bully" someone they don't even know online where they can hide behind a "hard" character are the real "noobs" :P

I do think in some more serious bullying situations on Habbo, like racism or homophobia which I have seen alot of, MODs should get more involved. Hitting the ignore button wont stop someone sayng abusive things about someone because they are different and they shouldn't get away with it.

On one occasion though, I was in a public room and someone was saying horrible things to me and I used the help tool and said someting like: "There is a user being verbaly abusive towards me for no reason at all, I will press the ignore button but tis wont stop this user from harassing me or following me around the room and i refuse to be driven out of a public room by another user." and a little while later I belive the user was banned.

But most of the time they say press ignore, I remember when the were more strict.

I kinda agree with this, although the ignore button is there for a reason. If you don't like what is being said to you then click it so it doesn't get bad, but I do agree mods should get involved when things are more serious.

True. You go into a casino,
- Newbie: Hey how do I play? Casino dealer: Noob.

But pulling back to the subject MODs are lacking behind their job.

See, sometimes new users can be annoying. But I still think older users should take the time to explain the rules of a game. If I see a new user asking for help or something I help them, I remember when I first started Habbo it was confusing, and it must be even worse for new users now with all the changes.

But anyway, yes, I understand MODs are very busy with loads of players and loads and CFHs but still...

Maybe we need more volunteers?

The thing I don't get is, when you CFH, there is 2 options. Help and Report a user to moderators. Some habbos might think the help option means that they'll get help, but they don't. I think that's a bit confusing for some. Ever since we've merged (or maybe even before that), moderators have been slack.

Bullying on habbo is not acceptable, and really should not be done in the first place, lol

Sadly, noone should do it. But they still do it for the 'fun' of it.

This almost reminds me of when I was in school. Teachers say bullying wont be tollerated, but then when I got bullied they did nothing! MODs are kind of like the teachers in this sense?
