Ok well my email was recently hacked and they changed my habbo ID password.. but they forgot about the characters password so when I login with character it tells me to log in with habbo email witch I no longer have access to ;p anything I can do since I still have character password? I tried combing accounts but I can't because it was connected to facebook witch was also hacked... They changed my security question to so I tried all of that..

You could try this written above, and since when could you change your security question? I thought you could only do that when you first join.

If not then the only option I can see would be to contact Habbo via https://www.help.habbo.com and explain to them what has happened, could even request your account to be temporarily banned until you can prove that you are the rightful owner, to prevent the 'hacker' stealing all of your furni.

But if you have hotmail, then there isn't an excuse, windows hotmail has LOADS of security features to prevent ones account being hacked. I got hacked on my hotmail account a few months back... I have over 30T on my habbo character that this email was linked too, but I have taken advantage of hotmails features, one of them being the "forgot password" linked up to my mobile, so I simply clicked forgot password and it text me a code in which i entered and changed the password and gained access back to my account within 2 minutes! I then changed the password, got back my habbo account, change the password, all my furni was still there! The 'hacker' didn't stand a chance! Plus the fact that I have trading disabled gives me a further 24 hours to counter-attack the hacker from stealing furni.

Should you get access back to your habbo then I'd recommend you take advantage of these features put in place.

I'm talking about the email [for the security q] Thanks everyone for the reply's I'll try to use the help tool but I doubt I'll have enough info I know the ip, email, password [for the character] and thats it. ;s I would of just thought I could get it back with the characters password.

If you know a lot of information about the email you had then contact msn, it will ask about your IP and such so maybe contact them if you can gather the information!

They'll want information such as:

Date of creation
Date of last successful login
Who was/is your ISP upon the creation of the account
Who is your ISP now
Any IP addresses that have logged into the account
The alternative email address linked up to the email
Names of the folders you have created within the email
The names of email subjects you have in your inbox (if any)

If you can provide them with this information then you'll get your account back for sure.

As email addresses from Yahoo and Hotmail are easy to hack I done it to my friends email once for fun (he never played habbo) it asks for a security question which can then allow them to access your email. So for example if it asks for favourite Historical figure you can simply ask the person this and they won't realize your going to hack them you type it in a presto your in their account.

Which is why I haven't set a security question.
So even though if you go to "forgot password" and then try to recover it via security question.. it'll have a question as default, but there will be no answer for it.

The only way to recover my account would be to steal my mobile.
As my alternative address is my brothers email, and he also has done the same as me.

Another flaw with hotmail is the fact that most people have their alternative address as one of their old hotmail accounts, and every 12 months, hotmail delete/clear out un-used hotmail accounts.
Therefore if someone had their alternative email address as (for example) [email protected]
and it was not used for 12 months, it'll get deleted, leaving it open for someone to claim

Someone then claims it, and it's ALREADY linked up to someones hotmail as the alternative email, meaning you can request their password and have it sent to your newly made email.

I've hacked a few people this way a few years back. Not proud of it, but it's a flaw you should all know.
