To be honest, I think Donators at Habboxforum.com should have there own forum, then we are acctualy paying for something, because at the moment we do not get enough privlages I don't think for the price you charge.

Get back to me please?

If you actually read the name of it, DONATOR, you'd kinda use common sense and realise that its just because you donated, therefore there shouldnt be any priviledges at all, not even a coloured name.

When you are paying money, you are helping the site, therefore why should you not be able to get some privlages?

Because you're donating, again common sense will tell you that you're just donating to help the site because you enjoy using it, not because you want c00l st00f.

Also they arent allowed because of habbo.

Donator Privs;
150 x 150 Avatar
700 x 300 Sig
Ability to Customize your own Usertitle (Non-HTML)
Coloured name

VIP Privs;
150 x 150 Avatar
700 x 300 Sig
Ability to customize your own usertitle (non-html)
Abitility to REQUEST, a name change or HTML Usertitle

Coloured Name

Donator and VIP Are exactly the same with a few minor adjustments, if donator was exactly the same, VIP would be less value'd

Got to agree with Niamh here.

Also, if we start giving you more privileges then VIP is going to become completely pointless and no one would care if it was given away as prizes anymore. I personally think what you get for buying donator is quite reasonable, I think the main thing people don't like about it is that they can't have a custom usertitle and a name change.

Not forgetting under the rules of Sulake we are only allowed to give asthetic features to people who buy donator to donate to the site.

Agree with aiden, but I think donators should get there own forum at least where they can chat with other donators?

This has been bought up many times, and has been turned down.
even the VIP Forums isnt used for general chit chat, its used for requesting features like it should.

The main reason this has been turned down is because we want users to post in the public sector, you can talk with others in spam pretty much, they may not all be donator/vip but then atleast no-one is missing out on abit of community bonding.

It's not allowed, we are only allowed to give people who donate a coloured name and larger avatar & signature sizes.

As i stated above if theres something you wish to discuss with others theres specific forums out their designed and designated for users to communicate to each other on their views.
therefore no point in even having a trial run.

I think no.

1) You're DONATing to the site.
2) Habbo only allow small features, in fact I think it took a while for Habbox to persuade them for Donator's to have extended signature and avatar limits if I'm right, not sure.
3) The VIP one exists at the moment and the last thread on a standard page was created on the 6th June 2010, last post on that day too. I've taken a random page when VIP was able to be purchased and in a standard month it still was around a month and a half from one to the other. In addition, they were things like Competition Announcments (there were 2 of 'em), a competition, and the rest were just discussions which are likely to be in other forums anyway and were probably replicas of them as they could have been posted elsewhere. Others just posted "WOO BOUGHT VIP" which of course isn't needed.

Sorry but it'll be a stupid idea to have another forum that won't be used. What would you plan writing in the forum? Things which could go in other sections of the forum, for example a question about donator? Maybe a game where you have to guess what the above person is drinking? There's other sections! ;)

If we add too many features to our 'Donator' it will being it back to how VIP was, which will again go against the Habbo Fansite Way.

Official Habbo Fansites Must NOT:

*Charge users for premium services such as VIP access.

Like others have said, it's called donator for a reason. The main reason you actually buy it should be that you want to help Habbox out :)

Habbo would also have a field day attacking Habbox for charging people for premium features and exclusive access to certain things. They love causing trouble, and this is just what they will need to have a damn good moan.

Inseriousity.

Yes it's not allowed in the rules. It's a stupid rule but it's a rule nevertheless. I don't think anyone's mentioned though that you can win VIP if you'd like to have a few extra features. :)

also: when having yr own forum was a v.i.p ting it was never used except by the k.k.k and it just died out. if it came back, exactly the same would happen.

KKK didn't die out we got EVICTED but yeah the old VIP subforums only worked because they weren't VIP exclusive, they were just owned by the VIPs and still public to the rest of the forum. Having an area where not everyone can post wouldn't be of any benefit to the site as a whole and would have no use - can anyone who is for this idea give an example of what you might discuss in a donator forum that you wouldn't want to post in the normal areas?

We are not allowed to close threads at the request of members without a specific reason and unfortunately this is not one of them and others may wish to continue to discuss topics that have grown out of it. :)

that is nice and rude, before you get a little uptight the kkk was a v.i.p members forum that is very popular, not the racist movement.

yeah and let's see who uses it...

2 people will use it for a week until it dies down and no-one replies to threads anymore and there's plenty of forums to post in without having one where donators can 'socialise' if you want to discuss the colour of your name use spam or somethin
