What are your broad interests? often you hear people say 'I don't really have any' when asked, but if you think about the things you enjoy (even those simple things) I suppose you could class them as your interests. Obviously the usual such as computers will come up on this forum, but just wondering if there are things which you wouldn't think of that people on here have in common with one another on a large scale (across the forum).

I'd class my main as history, politics, economics, gardening and architecture.

Yours?

Science is my greatest interest, by far, specifically geology, evolutionary biology (in evo bio, specifically phylogenetics, I have a tattoo related to it on my back, it's one of my passions), neurology, pathology, chemistry, physics, and astronomy. I like math, too.
I love being outdoors: rafting, kayaking, hiking, camping, that sorta stuff.

evolutionary biology
me too!!!

i really don't know the names for half the stuff i like though...
my biggest interest is nature. especially naturopathy/natural healing and natural history (ie human instict) which sorta ties in with the rest like anthropathology and culture. i absolutely love asian culture and no that's not just south korea. it's not just specific areas like anime/manga or the music but generally i find their beliefs, traditions, history and society to be so much more interesting than anything else i've read. plus the fact that chinese medicine is a huge part of natural healing makes it even better. sorta obsessed with how diet and products affect you... you are what you eat..

then i like positive psychology, self-improvement, self-help, mindfulness, in-depth astrology (such as natal charts) and anything that affects your personality like birth order/blood type. i usually prefer cold-hard facts and seek the truth but that often lets me down so sometimes it's fun to just speculate a little with the astrology and personality parts~~

& i like writing. a lot.
