What was your first console/handheld?

What was the first ever console/handheld you ever owned? Also what memories (if any) do you have of it?

For me it was the game boy colour. I later got the ps1 second hand off my cousin.

I remember getting the game boy colour for christmas when i was about 6/7. Also having these pokemon battles in school using the link cables. There used to be this one kid who would sell really high level pokemon for sweets :P.

My first was the original xbox (cyrstal ;)). My best memory was probably finishing simpsons hit and run after spending ages on the last few missions, lol.
I loved just driving around on midtown madness too :D

First console was the SNES, absolutely brilliant memories of playing Super Mario World when I was younger. Hand held would have been a Gameboy (can't remember exactly which one was my first).

Handheld console was Gameboy Advance I remember linking it with my brother's and cousin's with the wire and having a laugh playing Wario by myself.My first console was PS1 given to be by my GodFather I used to love it playing old games like MnM(chocolate) and games like Scooby Doo Cyberchase.

I don't remember playing my ps1 much though, the game I remember the most must be metal gear solid as I remember asking someone if they wanted to play it. Then I would never play a game in the series until 2008 where I got MGS4, then 2010 when I bought the original MGS via digital distribution and also MGS3 which I am still to play.

The game I remember most with my gameboy is pokemon crystal

With my ps2, well my first game with my personal one was the sands of time as it was bundled, never finished it, too hard at the time.

Gamecube I originally got to play pokemon Colosseum, never finished it but got a few more games for it but the ps2 was where it was at.

DS, eh. First game was new super mario bros, which is still to be completed.

PS3, first game in the house was resistance (and some lame pirates of the Caribbean game which I never completed, infact barely played), but the first game I bought must have been uncharted, any others were my brothers. I think anyway. Actually it might have been GTA. I dont remember.

360 I only got 2 of (both preowned) cos the first one was without hdmi, but I got more money then I bought it for, so who cares? I mostly wanted it for the exclusives, notably alan wake which as you may have guessed, I still have not finished despite getting it at christmas lol

PSP I got specifically for peacewalker as I was in a mgs mood and I also got portable ops as it was quite cheap. And again, I still havn't completed them either. I'm noticing some sort of odd trend going on.

Well I have an older sister, so most of "my" consoles were hers. My first handheld was an GAMEBOY, the original one. And my first console was a PS2 which was my dad's although he more or less gave it to me and my brother.

I used to love the GAMEBOY so recently I bought a GAMEBOY Colour which is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

My sister had a Commodore 64 and a Sega Genesis. They wasn't mine, but I used to play on it all the time. But my own console was the PlayStation (not the PS1 crap).

My first handheld console was the PSP tbh! I never liked the Gameboys. Infact, I didn't even use my PSP that much. Never been a fan of handheld consoles.

The original GameBoy :D as for console the SNES I used to have a carttrage for the SNES you could put your GameBoy games in to play them on the tv. Full Screen pokemon when your 6 was the best thing ever <3
