..Concerning The Eggs, Apology

Dear Members of the Answer community,

I am sincerely sorry for this huge goof up concerning the Egg Hunt Quest. It was no one's fault but mine that this terrible tragedy even occurred. I'm very angry and embarrassed about this for two reasons:

1) This quest should never have been a job for Answers to submit. This is not the sort of matter we deal with. This group gets you badges, stickers, and the occasional furni for free without you doing any of the work. That's what we've always been about around here. But, this is no light matter. This is a very big, time-consuming, tedious quest. It takes a LOT of hard work to do this quest right. The winner of this quest had to do the work to earn the prize. And I hope that AddictiveCherry (http://www.habbo.com/home/38747415/id) did work very hard to earn her well-deserved prize. This is no freebie event. The fault of this does not lie with the staff, group members, or even the group itself. I'm taking full responsibility for this. I should have talked to my staff about events such as these. I'm truly sorry for the trouble and you should know that in the future, Answers will not give away any clues for quests like these. It just really is unethical.

2) Secondly, I am EXTREMELY embarrassed that we got this quest wrong. Even though we shouldn't have provided you with an answer for this quest in the first place, we should have at least gotten it right! I'm not sure why we got it wrong, and quite frankly it is unacceptable. We have never gotten a quest wrong in the history of answers and I'm not about to let this tarnish our outstanding record. I'm going to personally spearhead the investigation of this incident. I'm not looking for someone or something to blame, I'd just like to figure out why we failed you and how we can fix this so that it will never happen again.

Please do not blame any individuals or staff for this blunder. It is nobody's fault. If you really need someone to blame, point the finger at me. Once again, I'd just like to say how very sorry all of us at Answers are and we will try our best to ensure that history will not repeat itself. Feel free to write on my guestbook if you have any comments, concerns, or questions. Thank you very much for all of your understanding and hopefully for your forgiveness.

I Personally believe Habbo, wasn't expecting alot of people to do the challenge, and they decided to pick a different number, which came up with less users to pick from. & I've done research that 1053 was the correct answer and Habbo needs to publicly apologise to us all, for cheaping us out. First off, Habbo mislead the information they told us, they told us to count the duckeggs, as halves to equal one.
Another is,

Basket of Eggs
6O x 6 = 36O

Easter Baskets
99 x 5 = 495
6 x 3 = 18

Pop-up Chicken
130 x 1 = 130

Wannabe Ducks
50 x 1 = 50

Grand TOTAL = 1O53

and aswell,

Here's how they got 873 -

They did not count the Pop-Up Chickens and Wannabe Ducks. The total of them combined is 180. Our answer is 1053.

Excluded were the pop up eggs (130) and wannabee ducks (50) from the total of 1'053 - ('130+'50) = 873. Even though it specifically said to count them..

They just took the information from other Habbo sites like denmark where they weren't required to count up the other things therefore they got the 800+ answer.
So really it is a mistake on their behalf (the staff) as they didn't even bother counting.

I think it is fair play if it was a genuine mistake... It happens, if all the rooms we "copied" from another hotel, then why would they need to re-count the eggs if they have already been counted? I guess the mistake (if it was a mistake) was that they told us to count the Wannabe-ducks etc..

They probably looked at the rooms and come to an estimated decision that the wannabe ducks must have been counted to get a total of 873.

As Jordan said, they've removed the article, so I'm sure they are looking into it and trying to come up with a way to compensate us all.
But hey, even if they don't, so what? :)

1) It was knowones fault, habbo mislead us with their information.
2) Why should he appologise even if he got it wrong? People shouldn't blame him as if they truely wanted to win then they should have counted it themselves!

I counted the first 10 rooms and got the same numbers as their spread sheet. So Habbo has some explaining to do imo!

Bless him, getting so worked up and sympathetic about an online game. It's Habbo's fault, so just wait for them to treat their customers right and issue a formal apology. You may be waiting a while.

The fact habbo have not even had the balls to apologise for the mistake. Instead they turn it around and blame us and the end of think thats the end of that. eh, they have not seen the worst. WE DESERVE COMPENSATION! And yeah, the others to have their prizes taken off, since they cheated by getting the answer off the other hotels!

I really wish Habbo apologised because it is terrible that such a big site feels they can get away with anything. This is just horrible to us players. They will never admit that hey are wrong. When they had a competition to make a pixel maze room before merge and the prize was a throne, gold bar and a month of VIP, they didn't announce winner and I'm sure I would have won :(

Habbo is annoying in so many ways and we cannot change it. Someone should ask 0rca about this when she comes to HabboxForum :D

I know saying this I sound like the crazy girl, but when i played stardoll, we wanted better makeup, so i set up a petition, and hey, we got what we wanted, black eyeshadow came rolling in, clear gloss came rolling in! Last time i checked, it had 2000 signatures, which is pretty cool ;D Anyway, we could do the same for habbo?
