Me and a friend, where both thinking of going to London for 3-4 days, in summer after our GCSE's.
Just wondering,
how much would it be by train or coach from Liverpool to London?
and how much is general accommodation.

nearly every train company would probably offer travel from major cities like liverpool to london. you may be able to get accomodation at a reasonable price depending on how far in advance you book, but be careful, especially in central london everything is very expensive - walk everywhere if you have to, or you'll get ripped off by train and bus fares (unless you have a 16+ or child oyster card, which im assuming you don't).
if you're looking for bog standard go to a travel lodge just on the outskirts of london then get a travel card to get into and travel around london :-)

You can get a 2 night break so that would be 3 days with rail and hotel included. Might be worth looking at:

This is for east coast but most areas do them

Cut this short Im from London, South East from the more privileged parts, if you want to come to London, you want Central/West London, Its the best place to be, Clean, Safe, and Posh but can be very expensive, can see a few celebrities walking around if your lucky to find them in the right places such as Chelsea/Knights bridge/Pimlico etc.. And hotel in central London will be in tip top condition no matter if you stay at a Really cheap Travel Lodge or at the Ritz/Savoy(5* Hotels)
Swissotel The Howard London (West End/City) 5* Hotel this will cost you around £780 for 3 Nights
Charing Cross-A Guoman Hotel (2 Night Offer) (The Strand) High end 4* Close to Five, Is at £550 for a 2 night stay for the two of you
Thistle Piccadilly (Piccadilly) 3* Pushing 4, £351 for two nights.
Im showing High end stuff but take a look at : www.superbreak.com really good company all th travel agents use them, you can get an hotel for 2 night for probs £50 ea, but it wont come with food, and the location wont be too great.
Check National rail. It will cost £33.50 for a return ticket per adult can find this here : http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/planjourney/search
And By coach it will be 30.50 Which takes 7 Hours, whilst the train take 2 and Bit, so i advise to spend 6 Pound extra a buy a train ticket. this can be found here : http://coach.nationalexpress.com/
