Some of them really get on my nerves. I appealed against my perm ban on 'Willafus'. it got banned nearly a year ago and I haven't appealed for like 10 months. They just closed it, I didn't even get a reply or anything? Last year I was quite annoyed with just a rubbish sentence as to why they wont unban me. And this time they're not even replying? Is this common in the new submit a request thingy?

fair enough that if this appeal was say 2 weeks after my last appeal, but its been nearly a year, and I see people saying to leave it 6 months before appealing again, I gave it longer. This is what has annoyed me the most, at least reply saying why they wont unban me.

I would keep opening it by replying asking for an answer. May I ask what the ban was for?

I'll leave it a while I think. The ban was for attempting to steal passwords, I said something along the lines of 'omg type ur pw it comes up ***** ;o' to my friend, as a joke obviously. I understand why I got banned and eveything, but I feel that my appeal was pretty good and I made some good points, so I'm pretty annoyed they didn't even answer it.

MOD's are not bad. I think they should get more involved with the community to be honest.

I would just keep appealing. Goood Luck! :D

In a way that is your fault. So there is a great chance you won't get unbanned!

Never heard of them closing requests without replies.. You sure they didn't reply? No comment under your request?

I'd try again, and if they don't reply to that one again, I'd make a new help tool account and try to get answers from that

That happened to me before, they don't negotiate on it. Your best option is to wait six months and say you learnt your lesson.

Please tell me where I said I thought it was acceptable. I know it's my own fault, yes I deserve a ban, but not a perm. I only said it because I honestly didn't think they would ban for that, do people even fall for it? Maybe people who are new to Habbo, who 9 times out of 10 have no furni anyway so it would be pointless hacking them.

New members probably have no furni: correct.
But if utter brainless morons hack noobs with no furni, the "noobs" get annoyed and leave.
This means Habbo just lost a potential customer who could have spent money. They spend thousands of pounds every year trying to get new people to sign up, they don't need idiots hacking them and getting rid of them.

You probably were not doing that and may be did it as a joke, but on Habbo, do not ever joke about anything which could get you a perm ban - especially if it involves joking about hacking.

And if you joked about it to your friend, he or someone in the room clearly didn't like you to have reported you.

I agree with everything you said. I just feel that 10/11 months on from when it happened, I have learnt my lesson, i'm older, more mature, and wont make anymore jokes about things like that. I've also apologized to them, I just cant believe they didn't even reply.

Not sure if it changed when they outsourced, but isn't it player support who deal with appeals not the moderators?

Also, if it was only you and your friend in the room, he is a great friend for reporting you lol

Or the moderators were watching the chatlogs and just suddenly found what he had said and decided to ban him.
Goodluck in your appeal and just keep opening the ticket til they reply.

OUt of chance they decided to view a chatlog for a room with 2 people, out of the hundreds of rooms on the hotel that have two or more people in.

Likely.

Well because i'm silly I did it in a popular casino, there was only like 2 other people and it was quite late, someone else on the forums here got banned for the same reason on the same day, they got unbanned after first appeal though D: anyway thats not the point. I just think it's unfair i'm not even getting a reply when i'm putting in the effort to write a nice appeal and apologizing to them.
